My dad took his Charger there for repairs. They took an extremely long time to repair the car, and my assumption is that they liked the car so much, that after they repaired it, they decided to joy ride around with it until I complained about how long the repair was taking. Evidence left behind to come up with that assumption: the car had almost 1,000 miles EXTRA on the odometer (why would you need to test drive a car that only had EXTERIOR body work done?), the back seat had food crumbs, dried up wipes, and the caps on baby seat anchors were flipped up on one side of the back seat (obviously to attach a booster seat or small child car seat). I asked them about all that I discovered and was told that "...maybe when you guys had your kids in the back seat.....". I don't think so. My dad was 87 at the time, and being 66 at the time myself, I don't need a car seat. Just my opinion, but I'd never take anything to them after knowing they invade your privacy by using your property as if it was theirs, and dirty it up, then look at you stupid when you ask them a question requiring a straight answer as to what the hell were they doing with the car, other than fixing it. Basically, you can't trust them to be legitimate. And I don't care if they don't like what I have to say. And I don't care for a response to this review by them either because it's going to be not sincere, and I'm sure they'll deny it, and or profusely apologize without substance. But the facts remain, they did it, did not apologize, would not offer to remedy the situation, and if they did that to us, who else have they taken advantage of? Enough said. read more

I had my Mazda 3 hatchback repaired. The front left wheel needed replacing. There was only 1 available. They tracked one down in New York and still got the repairs a day before expected. Went in for some damage to our 2018 Honda Odyssey minivan through AAA insurance. No hassle at all going through insurance + deductible. All the repair shops options that were sent to us had sketchy reviews except for Fred Guy's Auto Body Shop so we went with them. We are so glad we did, Cynthia has been so good at keeping us informed of the progress as well as estimates updates (to align with the insurance case). Outstanding experience. I took my car in for a quote on painting the hood and roof of my car. Steve took the time to explain the details of the paint job, quoted promptly, and completed the work in the timeframe (and at the exact price) that was quoted. He also went above and beyond in removing ingrained water/mineral spots on the side of my car that I had not been able to remove in years. I guess they're too busy I've given them a "3" star review since in order to post a comment I need to give them a rating. I didn't want to "ding" them with a bad review since my contact with them was limited and my experience was more confusing than anything else. I visited them for an estimate. The girl at the front desk asked me if I had an appointment and I told her I didn't. She then let me know that their first opening for an estimate as 2 weeks away. The next 2 places I visited were able to quote me on the spot. I ended up taking my business to one of those. Maybe I just don't understand how the body shop business works, but not being able to give me a quote for 2 weeks seemed kind of strange. read more

To start this off I'd like to say if I could give this place less than a star I would. There's so much stuff I can say but to keep it simple, I got into a car accident and the car that was hit was barely damaged. This all happened about 4 weeks ago and they refused to let me pay for it up until now, they wanted to charge me for some fake charges, keep in mind I'm a mechanic, and change out parts of the car that were not damaged. They wanted to charge $18,000 and I was very confused, so I asked to see the parts that were "damaged" so I go look and they literally too my face denied letting me see, but after a while of convincing they allowed me. After they allowed me I recorded this video of the parts, they flat out changed parts for the car that were not damaged and they added it to the charges. They didn't wanna take credit card so sure I got it in cash to give them, but then when I got there to made me put it in check. They also refused to give me a receipt but after me constantly complaining about it they finally gave in. These people are the worst service workers I've ever seen, they have horrible attitudes, and they refused to help me in anyway based off requests I asked to see. They refused credit card, money order, and cash when they have a plaque saying its all accepted, so they made me write a check. read more

I came to Fred Guy after hearing nothing but good things, and everything was right on point! My truck was sideswiped along the rear passenger side leaving the panel pretty thrashed, and there was a small dent in the tailgate from a separate incident. I decided to fix both issues, and Fred Guy did an amazing job. There was an initial hiccup due to a back ordered part, but Fred Guy came through and handled it generously.
