They refused to provide their garage liability insurance provider and they will be pursued in court and reported to the DMV. They also don't know how to do a wheel alignment but they gladly take your money for one.

Coincidentally, unknown to me a friend told me he also uses Kehls for winter storage and couldn't be happier. Anyways, throughout the process I came to know his 2 brothers Mike and Joe as well as Joe's wife Anne whom handled the closing. From 2020 on, I have had only an excellent experience with the ENTIRE Kehl family. They sell family boats as well as fishing boats. We had a great time for about an hour or so but about half way back the engine started sputtering and then died. We tried a few things but admittingly while we can both turn a wrench, neither of us are all that handy when it come to boats. While he was trying to access the carb (it's a pretty old but cool boat), I was already on Yelp looking for help. The fellas at Kehl's were as cool as a cucumber and as nice as my uncles. We tried a few more things but to no avail. We simply cracked a couple colds ones and waited a short while for them to arrive and tow us back to their marina. While I didn't ask him how much they charged for their work, I do know they were able to get her fired up the next day and he was pretty pleased with it all. I don't own my own boat yet (aside from canoes/kayaks), but when I do, I'm surely glad I now know of a friendly, reliable and honest boat mechanic/ marina nearby!

This review is based strictly on the customer service because I ended up not needing anything done…read moreto my car. So with the cold weather I had to put air in my tiers. After a couple of days a coworker mentioned to me that I need air in my tire. I figured there must be a small leak in one of the tires because I had just put air in the tire. Called K&K Auto & Tire and they told me to come down whenever to look at the tiers. The man on the phone was friendly and told me to take my time getting there. So already I felt better about bringing my car there. Once I arrived at K&K I walked right in and they were able to help me. It turns out I didn't need air in the tiers, but because the spot I was parked in at work was on a slant it gave the illusion that the tire was low on air. After putting a little bit more air in all my tiers I wasn't charged for anything and was on my way, with tip of course. Great customer service! It was fast and I appreciate that they didn't charge me for taking up their time with a false alarm tire repair. Bottom Line: Great customer service! I will defiantly be back when I actually have a to replace my tires!

This is a quiet well maintained family owned Marina right in Manhasset Bay. The Mechanic and Manager has been there a very long time and is excellent. While he is fairly young he has the skills of Mechanics of old, who can build parts, redesign boat manufacturers mistakes if required. He can goes way beyond just the engine and transmission on repairs of any sought on all boats. The owners are always on the premises for service and needs as required, The docks are very secure and the Marina is in a very safe area, when storms occur. Parking is close to the ramps and available 99 % of the time, I have been in the same slip for 30 years with two different boats and never found a reason to change and haven't had any incidents in all that time. Toms Point doesn't have a Restaurant but in walking distance there plenty of different type Restaurants, fast food, gourmet,super markets, Pizza places and on and on. So if someone is looking for a slip in Manhasset Bay I would recommend this Marina a place a calm spot with friendly management as well as friendly boaters. B.C
