It didn't take long for dance moms from other schools in the area to hear about Andrea's amazing pointe technique immediately after she landed here in Chester, NJ. Dancers improve so quickly with Andrea's teaching methods, you have to see it to believe it. Starting at a young age with proper technique is so much easier than having to relearn it properly. To share a personal story: one of my daughter's, who started dancing in diapers at age two, decided to stop dancing at the end of eighth grade. Instead, she cheered for both scholastic and competition teams in HS, but deep down I knew that she was not happy without dance in her life. We brought a dancer friend to meet Andrea during the summer before her senior year, and Andrea announced that she will be offering two dance tracks this year; contemporary and classical, and that my daughter should come and check it out. it was as if someone pinched her and said "go for it," and she said "I think I"ll try it." She has not stopped dancing since, and I am so grateful to Andrea for welcoming her back to her studio as a senior and helping to get her ready for college auditions. My daughter is proof that good solid technique is not forgotten, it's just put on a back burner for a little while until you are willing to go for it. My child has flourished in this studio; Miss Beth, Miss Alyssa, and the other teachers love the students like their own children, and I have always felt welcomed as part of their dance family. Miss Patti in the office is fantastic, as well, and we love seeing Mimi! My child has learned so much about teamwork from Miss Beth, and the support and mentoring provided by the older dancers has been an inspiration to us. There is no arguing that this dance school is excellent in teaching children how to dance however…read morethe way they hold their recital is not safe. Other dance schools will have you SIGN OUT your own child before they let you leave the recital venue but this is not true with this dance school. They had let my 6 yrs old daughter go on her own to some desk close to an exit door. When I went to pick my daughter up in the classroom where she stayed during the recital i was told that "she went with somebody she was happy to see" the person who is "supposedly" watching her could not even tell me whether it was a male or female that picked my daughter up which just shows that this so called "guardian" was lying. ABSOLUTELY UNACCEPTABLE!!! She could have been abducted and they would have not known it. This is a horrible experience and totally not worthy of my child.

Honey, it's nothing like that! Floating is Instant Meditation. I could go on and on about the benefits of being able to clear your mind of the endless chatter that causes confusion in our lives and prevents us from solving the problems that matter. This facility is BEAUTIFUL, and Impeccably Clean! It was a great experience for me. I suggest you bring your favorite meditation CD if you want, because you can listen inside the tank. ! across the street from the Stanhope House. When I float, and I have done so many times, I like to bring my journal and afterwards go to a cafe and sit and write about the experience. If you are involved in psychotherapy, floating is an excellent tool.
