We were so delighted to find Tutu School Strongsville! From the moment we walked in, the studio felt warm, organized, and genuinely welcoming. The staff greets families with kindness and familiarity, creating an environment where children feel comfortable and excited to participate. One of the things my son enjoys most is how personable and engaging the instructors are. They take the time to truly connect with each child-- learning their personalities and making them feel seen and supported. That personal attention has made a noticeable difference--he looks forward to class and leaves feeling proud of himself every time! The owners, Katie and Grant, are also wonderful. Their experience and passion in professional ballet and teaching dance is evident in everything they do. Their enthusiasm, expertise, and genuine care for the families they serve create a strong foundation for the entire studio. The instructors balance structure with imagination beautifully. They introduce real ballet fundamentals while keeping the experience playful and age‑appropriate. Their patience, professionalism, and warmth truly make each class feel special. I even got my own pair of pointe shoes. I loved to dance. I did lyrical, ballet, tap, and jazz. But, when I did get older I had some bad experiences with getting yelled at. Yea, I wasn't Misty Copeland, but I also wasn't a someone with no strength and flexibility. I was told these were corrections and I wasn't to cry over them because I was getting help. I had some days where I'd be corrected with simple words, and not be humiliated in front of the class. One time my teacher said she didn't give a shit about the dance she was choreographing and said she was looking at me. Mind you I was on a week long vacation in Washington DC. I cried in the dressing room while my friends comforted me. My little sister also went to this dance studio and experienced just about everything I had. The good and the bad. I don't want to make this too long, so I'll just say a few more things. I quit in 2021 and my sister quit in 2022. I feel so much more anxiety free now and so does my sister. every time I had to go I just got a heap of anxiety in my stomach. Needless to say, the studio is really nice. if you want to sign up, I'm sure you won't regret and you'll make a lot of good friends. I just wanted to share my part.

I'll definitely be back the next time I visit Cleveland! Ps plan to take the stairs!

The minute you walk in, the instructor will warmly greet you and make you feel like part of the CED family. The best thing about Cleveland Eclectic Dance is that its a very supportive, loving and fun environment. My small dance class was an eclectic mix of all ages, ethnicities, body types and skill levels (which I loved). The instructor was equally attentive, accepting and welcoming to everyone, especially me as a newbie. I am so incredibly impressed with all of the wonderful women that run this studio! They genuinely care about your experience and want you to have an empowering, fun, and supported time learning new things and loving yourself as you are.
