Franprix is one of France's popular supermarket chains, and these are all over Paris. This particular location is small, so it's not going to get you through, say, a week's stay in an Airbnb if you want groceries and other staples. However, it was perfect for the couple of days that I spent in the city when I needed a prepared midday snack to tide me over between my hotel buffet breakfast and decadent, late Parisian dinner reservations. Being that I'm subject to the exchange on the American dollar, everything in Euros makes things more expensive to me.
