It's uncomfortable enough that I've decided not to come back. When a pattern like this repeats, it's no longer a bad day, it's just who the person is. If you're going to be in a customer-facing role, at least try to make people feel welcome. If that's too much, maybe it's time to consider a different job. This seemed incorrect, and when I brought it to their attention, the staff's response was not helpful. They tried saying an 8% charge justifies the amount but the receipt said $20? My math wasn't incorrect nor was I in the wrong and the man behind the grill acted passive aggressive offering me the order for free in a digusting way . I decided to walk away. The last time I came, they were out of most of the popular flavors, and two young men working the counter were laughing and having a great time while the line was long. When I got to the counter, there was only one young man working. I asked if he was running the whole shop alone, and he said yes and apologized. I told him not to apologize because this is clearly a management issue, not his fault. He was actually exceptional and very kind despite being overwhelmed, and he deserves recognition for that. However, the owner or manager of this location should be present or ensure proper staffing, especially during peak hours and extreme weather. Having one employee handle a packed store is completely unacceptable and reflects very poor management. I'm really disappointed to say I won't be returning. But give this young man a break.
