A man named Jacob came out on 2/7, spent 5 mins being shown around and told what I need moved while taking notes on his iPad. I was told he'd have a quote ready and sent to me by morning of 2/8. All goes well, except it is sundown,…read moreyou're not finished with the project, and your schedule doesn't allow time to finish, what do you do? Call Larry at Best Hauling. You'll probably get him on his cell and he will be short with you, he's a straight-forward dude that can bust up cement pools, he's not angling to win Mr. Congeniality. I also like that he's not one of the chatty contractors, just because I'm a lady doesn't mean I want to talk to you, get to know you or vice versa. I have a job, I want to know if you can do it and how much. Period. Since it was an outdoor project he was able to come out and give a quote without me having to take off time from work. Once I asked him to do the job, he came back AFTER work hours (big deal since many only work business hours) and we talked about what needed to be done. When I asked about payment, he said he takes checks only (to clarify because some will be perplexed: no credit cards) and would pick it up AFTER the job was done. Easy enough! If you need a demolition, junk removal man, call Best Hauling. Forget the other numbers you see online, in the newspaper classifieds or Craigslist.
