A receptionist referred me over to her coordinator. The coordinator explained that as long as the furniture pieces had no damage or stains that most likely the items would be accepted. Then she had me text her some photos. After giving me their blessing that they would accept them they gathered my address and pick up information as I was not able to bring them to the store. I am not sure what their mile radius is, but it wouldn't hurt to ask if they would be able to pick items up for you. If you're able to drop off items, this large building in Hobbs, New Mexico is easy to find next to Tractor Supply. Today--May 9, 2024--when the two guys who arrived on time (11AM) to pick up my sofa and loveseat donations, they were very cordial and mentioned that the set I was donating was very nice. The company I work for had a truckload of cardboard that we wanted recycled. Here's the process: + Have everything separated before arriving. + Don't be a douche bag and let your items fly out of the pickup going down the highway. I used a large cinderblock to weigh down all the boxes we had after stacking them somewhat strategically. Worked like a charm. + There's usually somebody at the entrance to assist you. The last few items are recycling. take your address and license plate as this is a service free of charge to Lea County residents. + once you've been directed to your spot, you can go ahead and turn your vehicle off and stay inside. They'll do the work! The staff members are very friendly and helpful. They keep the area clean and there is no debris or suspect metal or nails (or the like) where your vehicle will be driving. First off, all of the employees I interacted with in person and on the phone were all friendly. Before the termite treatment ($2,142.66 for the entire house which is over 2,200 sq. ft.) which consumed a full morning, I'm glad I was able to rip out all of the flooring and the baseboards. This way the owners - a husband/wife due - were able to better evaluate the evident, past termite damage. I was told I would not need to move anything in the garage, but when the crew got there they told me I had to everything away from the walls. All of my moving boxes were in there. I was fuming. There are three reasons why this couldn't be rated 5 stars: - I had to remind the termite guys that they needed to put treatment in a crack inside the house where they said they would before they tried to leave. - The broad leaf herbicide (about $120 per treatment) that they sprayed on three different occassions was sprayed in what I would call too windy of conditions. I know we live in a windy area. It sucks. Wait, no it blows. Ha! But it's not fair to me that my yards got a half ass job half of the time. On top of that the weeds are just prevalent as they were before. The fault cannot be completely pinned on them as I did not do a good job keeping my yards watered & rarely pulled any weeds... a key to maintaining a healthier lawn. - Their lack of communication... Aside from the major mishap previously mentioned, I never knew when the guys were coming to spray the lawn. They never gave me a phone call about them. Lastly, they never called my brother back who wanted service at his house (also in Hobbs) the same time that I did. I guess I shouldn't have passed my phone off to him the day I requested lawn service my house then his. Overall, I'm more than happy to support local businesses, but things could improve.

My bosses requested that I hire a local company for graphics on our plain company trucks…read more I went with Awesome Graphics out of Hobbs, NM, and am mostly pleased with the results. They offer... + screen printed & embroidered apparel + custom signs + banners + promotional products (including koozies, drink ware, pet gear, & much more) + printed & cut vinyl decals & stickers. My first step back in Januaray 2023 was to gather information about the whole process. I didn't pick up where I left off until July. The graphic designer, Brittany, was friendly and easy to work with. At the time, I didn't know what questions I needed answers to as this was the first project of this kind that I had ever worked on. We wanted decals on the back passenger windows that would allow one to see out of the vehicles from inside. We also needed my office/mobile phone number on the back end sides of each truck. Additionally, each truck needed its unit number on the tail gate. The design looks good. The actual vinyl on the window is good until you get up close then you can see jagged cuts around the edges. I'm not too concerned about it though unless it starts peeling. All of the proofs were approved or declined through email. The program they use for this is mostly user-friendly. Our small business currently has a fleet of only 4 work trucks, but we also have several closed and open trailers that may potentially need graphics in the future. Half of the estimate was due at the time of signing the work contract. The other half is due after the order is complete. They accept checks, plastic cards, and online payments. The other staff member & the owner - Tonya & Lauren - have been great to work with, accommodating our crazy schedule including the missed appointment one of my bosses had when he fell ill with the flu. The only concerns I have are 1) that some of the window vinyl has bubbles in them still and 2) they duplicated one of the unit numbers are the back of two trucks even though the proofs showed them correctly. I let them know about this and there still has been no communication about this in over a week. TIPS + free quotes + lead time is 2+ weeks
