Let me set the scene...Christmas Eve 2025 after dark, as my lovely husband is driving home down…read moreI78, he so graciously found a large portion of someone's tailpipe they unfortunately left behind in the middle of the highway. Well, in a blaze of glorious sparks, he had to pull off to the side of the highway (which is a feat in itself let's be honest). As he gets out of the car to try and see what the actual F is going on he realizes that the vehicle has sprung a leak but unsure as to where it was actually coming from. After a little bit of fenagling he was able to unjam the offending object from under the car to see that it was up close and personal with the transmission and we now have a rather large issue. Luckily, he was able to limp the car to the next exit/gas station and able park it out of the way, but things were only getting worse. Now comes the realization it is after hours on a big holiday eve... and we also forgot to reup on our AAA subscription (my bad I will be getting on that asap). However, after a few phone calls and some google searches, we came across the listing on Yelp for Kaufman Towing with the holy grail of labeling of "open 24hrs". Within 30 minutes of finding the phone number and making the call we have the car parked in our driveway to wait another day to deal with it and the insurance. They were wonderful people, and the wait was microscopic compared to most as well as the price. They saved our butts and will definitely be saving their number on speed dial because with my husband's luck... we very well might be a repeat customer if not the best. Thank you, Kaufman's Towing!

Never never never take your vehicle here. We had a rusted bed on a Chev 1500 Silverado..estimate…read morein Aug 2921 was 4500.00..the owner told it was impossible to find another bed and rust had to be repaired. In Sept 2021 we took for repair..we're told new estimate was too low and quoted 5415.49. We agreed. Next day Blocker called and said he had to cut the bolts to remove bed and it was in such bad condition that the price would be $7,567.00. We went there to look..Mr Blocker told us there was no way to get the bed back on truck and it was the worst rust he has ever seen. I was able to find someone that would do the job for $2500 and this person had another truck bed in excellent shape. I then called a towing company to strap the bed to the truck and haul it to the new repair guy. Mr Blocker stated, "Oh, I didn't know it could be strapped on" At that point, I asked him "How long have you been in this business?" He lunged at me in anger and the towing guy stepped in between us. At that point, he started screaming at me, "Get the H off my property."My Blocker in my opinion is not honest and has an out of control temper .

My tolerance ends when I'm already paying for their subsidized healthcare....you'd think they'd be thankful.... NOPE.... nothing but hostility. If you think about it, it's their right to act anyway they choose and it's my right to come on here and let everyone know that you will not be welcomed or treated decently. The irony: they have a sign out front stating that they support American Veterans. Whatever service you need for your car can be found elsewhere.
