As you can see Deo the photo, Frank's has a solid craft beer selection to go with impressive wine and spirits to choose from. Back to the craft beer....yes they have the usual (Sierra Nevada, Sam Adams, etc..), but they also tend to have those hard to finds as well. For example...I just walked in and a good 3 weeks plus after it's release they still carried multiple bottles of the Founder's CBS. Impressive.

This averages out to a three because I give five stars to the shop and one for the treatment by an employee. Pretty sure I'm not the only woman he's been so incredibly condescending toward. My mom and I were both shocked. First, this is a great shop. I'd consider it a hidden treasure in Visalia. The wine room is awesome and the first employee who helped me was polite and friendly. Then another man came in and took over. He was rude, condescending, and seemed to be under the impression I couldn't read. Then, when I asked him if he realized he was coming across as very condescending, he told me I had "attitude." I'm sure I did have the attitude of someone who was really, really irritated. Horrible. I complained to the manager, so I hope he's not working there the next time I go in. If he is, I'm walking right out. This is a great shop, and I'd love to keep patronizing it. I hope they take care of this problem employee.

Surprising choice of options. Wish they had more vermouth options. Huge selection of gin

Our go to liquor store when visiting family in Visalia. They have a huge selection of beers but their wine selection isn't all that great.

I wanted more but I had to remind myself that I don't drink often and have no use for 10 different flavors of vodka.

With the reviews on Yelp and the recommendation of our Air bnb host, this was a "must" during our visit. Nice decor and ambiance upon entering. Had a musician playing clarinet, which was beautiful. Unfortunately, we did not even eat here. As I stated, we had been at an outdoor convention- we were in nice jeans and ballcaps. This restaurant was not "suit" fancy, but we may have appeared underdressed with our ballcaps. Honestly we don't make a habit of dressing down and are usually overdressed lol. We felt judged the moment we walked in. They asked if we had a reservation. We did not but we were still sat. There was a wine tasting going on and we were asked if we would like to participate. We politely declined. The vineyard owner came over and talked to us. I politely declined again. The waitress never returned for over 10min. We hadn't even been asked about any other drinks, appetizers, specials of the house, nothing. The menu had some amazing dishes and appetizers that I am sad I wasn't able to try, but if you're going to make me feel less because I didn't have an opportunity to brush out my ponytail and change my shoes, then you're not deserving of the money we were planning on spending in your establishment. These Texas ranchers were very unimpressed

Very pleasant experience for a date night, with even more delicious food. I was here over a year ago and sadly forgot to post this review, so I don't remember what we had but I remember I thoroughly enjoyed it. The owner had a moment to chat it up with us and she gave us the story of their business and it was all just a pleasant time. This is definitely a gem of spot in this town.

Review: A Triumphant Return to Pita Kabob…read more Rating: It had been about five years since my last visit to Pita Kabob, and I'm happy to report that it remains one of the best spots in town. From the moment we walked through the door, the service was seamless; we were greeted immediately and seated within just a few minutes. The Vibe & Menu The menu strikes a great balance--large enough to offer a deep variety of Mediterranean dishes and libations without being overwhelming. We noticed a fantastic selection of drinks and settled on a few ciders, which have been our go-to lately. They were the perfect crisp pairing for the meal ahead. The Main Event: Mediterranean Pitas We decided to stick with the classics and ordered the Mediterranean Pitas: * Lamb Pita: Rich, savory, and perfectly seasoned. * Filet Mignon Pita: Incredibly tender and high-quality protein. Each pita was packed with flavor and offered that satisfying "fresh and crisp" crunch in every bite. The portions were spot on--filling enough to satisfy but leaving just enough room for a side. Don't Skip the Fries We couldn't leave without sharing an order of their fries. If you haven't had them, they are an absolute essential for the table. Final Verdict Five years is a long time to be away, but Pita Kabob hasn't missed a beat. Between the efficient service, the flavorful entrees, and the great drink selection, it was an amazing experience. We won't be waiting another five years to come back!
