He assured me he would return to finish work he had omitted, specifically pruning about 30 plants that were left unaddressed. Unfortunately, I made the mistake of paying him upfront before inspecting the work. After I contacted him, he apologized and promised to come back, but despite multiple attempts to follow up, he never returned. My advice: either don't use him or, if you do, never pay until the work is 100% complete. Unfortunately, this one was on me.

So now I have to go buy sand to fix and level my yard back out due to their ignorance!

Howwever, North American tree service was so reasonable, professional and fast. Due to recent storms I unfortunately needed them again. Once again, they sent Jason (certified arborist) and he reviewed things advising me of what did/didn't need doing. Not just trying to make a buck. I recommend them if you have any tree issues.

I foolishly agreed to this, because he was making it sound necessary to finish the landscaping and he was clearly not offering to pay for his own mistake. I like some things that were planted, but the overall look is not at all what I expected (I acknowledge that the guy walked me through it, and I just decided to trust him). My husband hates everything about it.
