You know, I'm not sure how to feel about Frank's Cafe. It's effing weird. First of all, it's in a place you wouldn't expect. We came to Peckham with some friends because it's a tad dodgy but very up and coming. Think some places on the "east side" of Austin. So we finally find our way up and you can bet that if there are other young white people looking confused they're looking for it too. After several flights of stairs and very bright walls later we find it. It's essentially the top part of a parking garage made into a bar. Yes, the views are very cool. It gives you an amazing panorama of London and I can only imagine how wonderful it is during sunset. I've used some pretty shit bathrooms before, and these are up there. Use them once just for the experience, but there's definitely no reason why they would have to have those- I think it's stupid. And no it doesn't make me posh! It would hardly cost much more to use a slightly taller board as a door so people can't look in on you!

This place is incredible. A nice bar, decent food and and incredible location. Located on top of a multi-storey car park in Peckham the views from this place are truly some of the best in London, plus there is tons of space meaning it has virtually unlimited capacity. There are one or two drawbacks which stopped me giving this place 5 stars though: The bar is just not big enough to cope with the crowds this place gets, you can easily queue for 45 minutes to get served on a Friday or Saturday evening (afternoons tend to be a better bet). The bar is also full of white hipsters (in one of the most un-white and un-hipster parts of London) and this gets on my nerves much of the time. Worth a visit for a couple of hours for the views but I couldn't spend a whole evening here due to the clientele myself.

What a unique rooftop bar and what an adventure to get to it! After finding the entrance to the car park there are multiple steps and ramps to negotiate, as well as security check, before you finally get to this bar on the top level of the structure. The view across South London and into the city and Canary Wharf is awesome and worth the hassle on its own.. It was busy on a rainy September evening, so I dread to think how packed it gets on a beautiful summer day. There is a large sheltered seated area so don't let a little rain deter you. Everyone should visit this bar at least once. I am so happy to have visited this bar and can imagine coming back to show out of town friends who visit next summer. Having said that I will not be back for my own benefit, as the only beer on tap was Estrella and I am, as you may know, something of a beer snob.

I've only ever experienced Frank's once and I think I got very lucky. Arriving at about 2pm on a Saturday afternoon with the sun blazing this was a good place to be. Plenty of seating space if you want to rest your weary legs after climbing all those stairs and even some with a bit of shade if that's what you are after. The food looked ok but was definitely overpriced and I paid £20 for a jug of Pimm's. Fairly standard price for London and one tastes the same as the next. I left around 5pm and it was starting to get busy then and I can imagine that it will be a bit of a nightmare when it's packed. Service is hit and miss and the bar area gets a bit cramped. I'll have to pay it another visit to experience the difference once the sun goes down

The space is great, and with "space" I mean the parking lot and the idea of having a bar/cafe there. The views are amazing, but apart from these couple of great things, the place is overpriced and kind of a hype. You know what I mean? 12 quids for a kebab in a place where the toilets are a hole in the floor it's a bit much...

One of my top favorite dinner/drink destinations in London! It reminds me of a speak easy, the way it's perched on top of an old parking garage, but there's plenty of locals when you arrive. The food was yummy, the view was amazing, the drinks were strong and the environment was on point! When I went to Frank's the weather was very sunny and un-London like so it was busier than normal, aka some of the lines were long, other than that it was great! I'll definitely return :)

Not convinced on the new power puff girl murder scene decor!

The restaurant is in a cute little spot with a few other restaurants. Great vibe with indoor and some outdoor seating The fresh fish and wine pairings are outstanding. We started with sea scallops which melted in your mouth. So good! Then we got a bottle of white wine with fish pairings (they had 8 local options the night we visited). I had the sea bass, and my husband had the trout. So good that I picked that sea bass apart all the way to the bone, which is saying a lot given that it was a very meaty, generous portion already. I tasted the trout, and it was equally amazing. Very impressive and fresh! I wish we could've actually tried some dessert because others around us looked very happy, but we were so full it didn't make sense. If you like fish, go out of your way and stop here! It was so flavorful and almost had a meat-like texture, wrapped perfectly in the crisp phyllo dough. My partner went for the lamb roast, featuring tender, juicy pieces of lamb that tasted fantastic. We also enjoyed some pigs in a blanket and a side of stuffing. There was so much food that we shared our pigs in a blanket with the lovely ladies at the next table. If I could suggest one thing, it would be to ask for the gravy on the side of the stuffing so it doesn't get overwhelmed.

It was warm, flavorful and delicious, sentiments my wife shared on the pot pie. We split an order of mac and cheese, and it was also delicious. Such great comfort food. I had a small scotch pour and an ale, my wife a glass of wine. I had a small port to pair with the sticky toffee pudding at the end which was terrific. The bar has a great selection of draft and bottled beers and, for the summer months, there is an excellent beer garden.
