They still have their old records in a shelf above the bar. Neither has the furniture changed nor the people nor the music. And that makes a perfect atmosphere for a rocker pub like the Blende is. However don't be scared of the Blende, if you don't feel like a rocker or if you younger than the average guest. Especially the bartenders at Blende are very nice to everyone. And they are fast, too. While in most pubs in Düsseldorf you will wait forever for your beer, this is not the case at Blende. They also have a pool table and darts. And they show football games on TV, whenever there is one.

Cocktails choice is huge, lots of vareities and many unique cocktails are here. 80% of the Cocktails are very tasty. We hardly found something which wasn't tasting good. Food is reasonable, although little expensive. But considering it's location, it's not too high. Service was okay. Not great, not bad either. Heavy rush always, so I don't expect superb service either!

We didn't have dinner there but we had the nachos and they were very tasty. They are very crunchy and well seasoned. I got to try 2 cocktails, the Mojito and Swimming pool, both were delicious and we were lucky to be there at happy-hour so we got Jumbo size and payed the small size. In conclusion, this is a good place to go for fun with friends in the "altstadt" were you can have nice drinks, tasty appetizers and listen to some fun music.
