She never seems rushed and always gives good care. If I need to be seen on short notice, and can't see Dr. Smagina, the nurse practitioner is excellent, she's very warm and knowledgable and is able to help me with whatever I need. The office staff is always friendly and capable. All around a great office, and they also have labs on site, no need to drive to a second location to have blood drawn.

I had an undiagnosed abdominal problem/pain for years and went to see many different doctors-gastro specialists, chiropractors, pain specialists and acupuncturists and no one could figure out what the problem was. Some doctors even suggested the problem might be "in my head". However, the minute I mentioned my problem/symptoms to Dr. Cook, she knew what it was, sent me for treatment and my problem was cured after many years of suffering. She…read morewent over the long intake form line by line, but didn't seem to retain any of the information because she asked questions that were just covered on the form. She wanted me to choose between two medicines. When I asked questions about the possible side effects, she had to get her phone to look them up. In the end she prescribed a drug that contained sulfa which I'm allergic to (I had made it clear during the conversation that I was allergic to sulfa drugs). Before I left she wanted me to have a urine test for a baseline. When I questioned what it was for, she responded to see if I was using drugs!! I told her that was a waste of the insurance company's money and my time. I don't drink, smoke or use drugs. She asked me to wait to see if I needed it -- she was gone for over 10 minutes! In the end, she determined I didn't need the urine test. She forgot to call in the prescription. It took five days before I finally got them to call in the prescription to the right pharmacy (they sent it TWICE to the wrong pharmacy even though I corrected it after the first error). Worst experience ever! I asked to speak to the one in charge of NPs and the head of the clinic but received no call from either one.
