She is approachable, available and intent on providing a positive experience on a daily basis. The school has ratings similar to Washington Charter and the proximity as well as the "air" around the school made this a better choice for our family. There is also an enrichment program that runs from 12:25 to 2:35. We are taking advantage of the extra schooling even though the adjustment has been taxing for our little one. The pickup and drop-off procedures can be daunting but if you are organized it will be a snap. They also offer bus transportation if that is a need. We are very satisfied with this next step and we are laying the groundwork for our daughter that will follow in two years. A HUGE thumbs up.

Since our last experience was wonderful we decided to go back and entrust Ms. Maria and her staff with our daughter. We are glad we did. Our daughter really enjoyed herself, she came home excited to talk about her day, she sang us songs she learned at school, and had a positive attitude when she was home. All of the ladies there are just wonderful and caring. I'm glad Ms. Maria was apart of our family needs this time around as she was the last time we were there. I highly recommend Indio Learning Village. It was sad this time around knowing that this was the last time using Ms. Maria's service since our daughter will be entering Kinder.

It was a rough…read moreyear as we had lost our home in LA earlier that year and because we were hopping around to different Airbnbs, I had to pull my child out of kindergarten. My child was very sad and would often cry they couldn't read. They knew all their letter sounds but wanted to be able to read "big kid words and books". Just 9 months later my child, now in 1st grade, is not only reading but reading books and testing at a 3rd grade reading level. My child is so proud of themself and we are so grateful for Ms. Cathy. She was not only an incredible reading tutor and mentor but she was a warm and strong constant in our child's life while things were wildly shifting and changing. She runs and engaging and motivating reading program they any child could benefit from. So grateful for discovering Tutoring by Cathy Bray and the time we've gotten to spend with her. If you're seeking academic support for your child in the desert whether long term, summer or reading groups this is absolutely the place to go!

My daughter started when she was almost three, and had such an easy transition from an in home daycare. She has thrived in an environment that provides a caring environment that also sets boundaries for the kids. Ms. Elaine has been in early education with the montessori system for many years. I know several middle and high school students who went through her program and have thrived because of it. My daughter loves this school, and I know how sad she will be to leave it for kindergarten. I'm a third grade teacher in DSUSD, and I can see the great foundation this school is laying for her. The outside doesn't look like much, but this is a school where your child can excel!

Outstanding language program!!!…read more I started as a complete beginner and this platform is definitely the best of any that I tried. It concentrates on learning Spanish naturally through listening to native speakers and working in a Round Robin format. Classes are given all day every day and last 25 minutes each. It has been a…read morewonderful way to build my confidence in Spanish, especially through consistent, real-time conversation. The classes are engaging, well-structured, and make it easy to keep showing up and improving. The instructors do a strong job of keeping things organized and creating a respectful, focused environment. There's a clear expectation that everyone participates constructively, which makes the classes run smoothly. I've taken dozens of classes with the student who complained about bullying (!!), and across all that time I've never observed bullying or instructors encouraging or tolerating that kind of behavior anywhere on the platform (I've been here for over 3 years). From what I've seen, situations are handled appropriately and the standard for conduct is clear. Overall, this has been an incredibly effective and professionally run program, and I'd recommend it to anyone looking to improve their Spanish in a structured, supportive setting.
