Now my son fears for his life. My son was send to the office to write a report about the incident, gave it to the front desk lady, and I was still not informed about this horrible situation. What troubles me most is that I was not informed by the school about this incident. My son now feels unsafe and scared to attend school, and as a parent, I am extremely disappointed by the lack of communication regarding a matter that directly affects his well-being. I kindly request immediate attention to this matter. I would appreciate a prompt explanation of the situation, the steps being taken to ensure my son's safety, and how the school plans to improve communication with parents in the future. Even Danny the parking lot crossing guard is pretty darn cool and helpful. Cons: Parking, parking, parking!!! This…read moreschool failed to care about, And turned a blind eye to complaints against a student that was making unacceptable, disgusting, sexually explicit, and derogatory comments toward another student (my son). I had to advocate for my son on multiple occasions, was never contacted about the outcome of the " investigation" And was told that they could do nothing since nobody heard it and they couldn't prove it on video. Absolutely unacceptable by a school district if you ask me. I was also told that it was not being looked into any further since this other student was no longer going to the same school as my son. I sure hope nobody else has to deal with this type of situation with the student since nobody in the school district seemed to care about avoiding the same situation in the future.

Yes, things have definitely changed since I was a tike, but there are lots of opportunities to get involved & informed.
