This has been my goto place for along time. The staff that has been there for many years are amazing. This time I purchased the Signature wash. Tim's were still dirty, found dirt scuffs still on the side of the car, truck wasn't even vacuumed out, inside only lightly wiped, found dusty dash and vents, and just not that great of a wash. For $31 I would expect a lot more attention to detail when washing and cleaning the car. I don't think the value of the wash was what I got. I could possibly understand if it was just basic but it wasn't. This has happened a little too often and isn't worth what I'm paying for. read more

This place has changed hands many times and has had very variable quality over the years. I had an interior detail completed last week and was pleasantly surprised with how well it turned out. The price was on the higher end, $250 for a full interior on my small Subaru, but my seats were in rough shape and I wanted it done ASAP so I was fine with proceeding. I learned they have memberships and they do detailing. I've been wanting to get my girl detailed after watching so many videos on Tiktok. I'm going to see how today goes and I'll report back. Took my car here to get cleaned and this is the second time here. There was 1 other car out finishing getting clean and one attendant. My car came out on the conveyor belt wash and no one else was out there paying attention to the cars coming out of the wash and I see the other car approaching my car and it bumps it. When I see this I immediately jump in my car and my car gets bumped again. Then one guys comes out from the registers yelling at the one attendant. Asks me if there is any damage aside from a couple of scratches nothing major but the lack of discretion of the car wash is beyond me. I honestly didn't think that this would happened here at the drive thru ones sure not the ones that you pay more to specifically to avoid something like this from happening! Horrible company- i went here with my truck 3 tomes not really knowing any better and they sucked me into the clay bar hand detailing with all the add on packages. I have been noticing the "micro swirls" of scratching on the paint you really have to stare at to notice but none The less - Well find out from true car detailer that those brush car washes are the reason for the swirls as they micro scratch you paint from the whipping brushes ! Needless to say i took it and spent $550 for paint restoration, and re-coating of my protector layer by adding a new thicker layer that is better for your vehicle. this is way more protective, and also in this price was the complete interior detail, engine detail , rims , and the plastic on outside if my truck was restored - The best part is the inside interior came in that price also and it looks better then it did when it came out the dealership! I went in with a car charger and left without one. You figure out what happened there. I was hesitant to go to Francis & Sons because they've done a poor job in the past. I thought I'd give it another shot today since it was convenient with where I was going. As usual they did a poor job and on top of that my phone charger mysteriously disappeared. I've never had issues with theft like this before so maybe I was too trusting leaving things in my car. I had tucked my charger in the console right before dropping the car off and when I went to get it back out it was gone. It's cheap, whatever, but still frustrating. Quick and clean. Had a pretty big scrape on my right side skirt that I didn't even notice, probably from hitting something on the freeway. They offered to buff it out and did it within a very reasonable time frame. The over all wash was pretty good, a couple of spots that were missed but i was in there close to closing so maybe they were just rushing to get home a bit. I paid $40 dollars for them to buff it out, just bought the car so the idea of it already being messed up scared me a little so I went ahead and asked them to buff out that scrape. Now that I think about it it probably took them 3 minutes to buff it out so a little over priced. $20 dollars would've been more reasonable. Overall experience I was happy they were so fast and did a better job than most car washes I've been to. read more

I have to say, I am not one to give bad reviews but this one was totally warranted. With that said, let's continue. I drove in and asked for a basic car wash and mentioned the banner for the $4 off. He said "sorry you already missed it because it ended at 11:00AM and it's 11:09AM". He went on saying that "that's for the early birds and your not an early bird". That started frustrating me right then. I told that's fine and I understood. That's when the pushing extra services started. He wanted to "wash" my tires for $3 and my head lights for extra money. Like, what? I continually said no to everything and kept asking for the basic wash. It went back and forth for awhile but he finally relented. After then he then asked me if I was selling my car and that if I was that he would buy it. Asking me to buy my car at this place seems super unprofessional. After that fiasco, another employee ran me down as I went into the lobby and said he wanted to talk to me about my windshield. I told him I am aware of the crack of the windshield and I was already getting it taken care of and I'm just getting a car wash today. He continued to follow me as I walked into the lobby asking about my insurance provider and they work with all of them. I had to keep telling him no and then I told him that I will not be talking to him any further about this. All I wanted was a car wash! It seems like this place desperate for business because they are trying to take advantage of customers and pushing them to pay for extra services that they don't need or want. It could be they are struggling so they force employees to be pushy and create and negative experience for customers. That is what their behavior tells me. The car wash itself is basic and there isn't anything special about it. I'm not sure what exactly the value they are trying to bring by creating a negative customer experience when trying to get your car washed. Their are a few things that saved this from a one star review. The cashier rang me up with the $4 off discount, I really appreciated that, and I was in and out pretty quickly, about 10 minutes. *Some advice to the owners* your employees should be asking customers things like "do you know about our other services?" or "we have a deal on this service". They shouldn't be pushing customers into services that they don't want or need. Make customers feel like they matter and that you bring them value for your service so they keep coming back. read more

Went to have my car cleaned here today. I have been there before, & been disappointed, but decided to give them another try. BIG MISTAKE! They did a HORRIBLE job, especially with the vacuuming. After the wash when I went to get my car after it was dried, I saw the floors were awful! I showed it to the detailer & he told me to go back & ask to have it vacuumed again. They did...kinda, but then said "Its stuck in the carpet". I could see they weren't really making much of an effort to vacuum it any better, so I just said "fine" & left. After all he said the dirt was "stuck" in the carpet. All this frustration & lousy job, cost me $17.99, normally $21.99 & btw, the guy wrote I had an SUV, & they tried to charge me extra bcz of that, but I showed them my car wasn't an SUV! Let's just say my car still had bird shit, soap spots all over and a a fat ass finger mark on my front windshield from where the guy just dabbed a blob of glue right in front me when he charged me $15 and made me buy him 3 bags of cookies to get cash back. Horrible place. I just moved into the Glendale area. Never been to this place before. I have a little four cylinder car. They try to charge me for an over sized vehicle. The kind lady inside fixed the issue. Then as I got out of my car, they tried to pressure me into getting my cracked windshield fixed through them. After telling the man "No thanks" 15 something times. He finally backed off. However, the gentleman who wipes off all the water stains and cleans the inside of the car did a swell job. Waste of money and false advertising. Went there specifically because they advertised a wash with underbody wash, the VIP wash. The wash level board where you pull up showed, like the website, that the VIP, included the underbody wash. It wasn't until after I paid that my vehicle was brought into the wash tunnel and it was obvious they had zero nozzles to spray the under body. Once out of the tunnel it was obvious nothing sprayed the underbody. Sent an email to the company with zero response. Will never go to a Francis and Sons wash again. read more

First I have both my vehicles washed there every week on Bell Road and Seventy Second Ave. With the tips on both vehicles it is 120.00 a week. I have a new truck, I watched them clean the windows with a wet lint filled rag, the floor mats were not cleaned and I was told afterward there was a charge. There was mud inside one of the mud flaps and when asked one of the workers , the one who gave me attitude went and brought back his manager, who of course was no help. The bumpers were missed and i had to point them out. There are better car washes out there. My vehicles will never be at Francis and Son's establishment again. read more

A week ago my mother did me the favor of taking my Nissan Altima for a car wash. Instead of getting their basic clean, she went the extra mile and got their best wash. When she brought home the car, in my eyes, it looked worse than before. Remaining on the roof of the car was bird poop along with water stains renaming from a poorly done towel dry. The worst part was the rims. They came back with all of the dirt and grime remaining. Just a terrible service, it really just makes me more upset that they totally played my mother and told her that the grime was scratches to the rim. She tipped these lazy liars pretty well too by the way. It would be fine, if the car wash employees did not push and push and push and act rude when a person does not want to buy an entire package when it's his/her first time at the business. The first time I went, the employee was nice and just let it go when I stated that I did not want to buy a package, as I stated I wanted to see how they did first before spending a lot of money on numerous car washes. The second time I went, the employee became somewhat abrasive. First of all, he kept leaning in, which was annoying, so I'd step away. He took GREAT offense to this. He stated "I won't rob you!" Um, I never thought that, but he was in my face / personal space. No thank you! Then he kept going on and and on and was offended I would not purchase a package. The guy then made a snarky comment and stated that if I was not wearing sunglasses, I could actually see how the cars were being washed and how that when *he* speaks to people, he does not wear sunglasses. Rude! It was bright and sunny outside; I will keep my sunglasses on. Geez. Both times, I did note the inside was decent, though smells strongly of an interior of an over-air-freshened car. There is free wi fi. Luckily, I have not had to stay too long. There are benches out back, for smokers or whoever wants to be outdoors. The car wash itself was quick, but I was disappointed that they stepped their wet shoes into the mat and left big wet stains in the car. Also, it was just OK. I often got to Los Olivos in downtown Phoenix. Though this place is much faster, the quality and sales tactics have made it where I will NEVER return. read more

On 1/2/2020, I dropped in to get my car washed. I chose the second level wash (The Works Full Service), which comes with wheel treatment, air freshener, vacuum, window cleaning, and ???. I went in and paid (got $4 off being a M-Th) and asked, being my first time there, do they come in and let me know my car is done? "Yes, they call your receipt number." Works for me. I sort of watched for it and, apparently, missed it going through the wash. After about an hour (I was sitting in their waiting area), I asked a worker to check on my car. A Latino worker did come in and holler...something, but it wasn't my car type or number. The worker finally came back and said, "I missed your car, it is done." How long had it been done??? Windows looked great, but side mirrors were quite water spotted. To top off my experience, I didn't get my air freshener! I won't go back. read more

First, let me say in order to write a review I had to give them a star. They don't even deserve a 1/2 star. Brought my car in yesterday to get washed. I have a small SUV which had dirt on the doors from driving on a dusty road. I was told I had to pay $5 extra because I had mud on my car. That brought the basic wash to $22.95. I mentioned to the guy that apparently they preferred washing clean cars only and asked if that included vacuuming the interior. He said of course. It took a guy 3 minutes to spray the dirt off my doors. Didn't notice til I got home that they didn't vacuum the passenger's side and behind the back seat in the cargo area. I called to talk to the manager but he was busy so said I would wait and got disconnected. Called back with no apology. Same excuse- He was too busy to talk with me. They also print on the receipt the amount of points I have accumulated with no explanation on the website what these points mean. The girl on the phone said after 120+ points you get a basic carwash. This is a total waste of time. No professionalism, no customer service, no service that deserves the prices they charge. read more

Very upset. I just paid for an expensive detailing for my little green machine. It was so shiny! She sparkled in the sun. After I took it home, I looked her over and realized there were dead bugs still. After wiping a bug off with a rag, I noticed my rims were filthy and there were water spots on the windows. They even left some compound on the roof of my car. The more I really looked, the more it looked like a half ass job for my money. I won't complain too much because the car washes are free for the moment, but I upgraded and actually paid out-of-pocket for the best wash they offer and the whole purpose of me coming was to vacuum my vehicle. Now after paying and getting my car washed I have to go find another place that will allow me to just vacuum and not get a car wash. Don't go there. Spent $80 on 2 vehicles for Ultimate. Didn't get the bird gunk or bugs off. Poor job on the inside, forgot outside trim and tires. They didn't have a ladder for staff to wipe down pickup hood. My guy had to do it for them. read more

My car smells AWFUL! It really smells disgusting, I don't know what the heck they used to clean my car but it smells gross! It has water stains everywhere. On the drivers side window they left some sticky stuff that is now all over my window and damaged it. On the ac, you can see on the picture there is some brown wax like stuff on it. It's gross! This place is a slice of hell. From the second my wife and I pulled onto their property we were met by an aggressive, high-pressure sales pitch. We should have turned around and driven away, but nope. We had to go further down the hole. We got a wash and it was okay, but we also agreed to replace the windshield and have it fully detailed a few days later. We planned to drop the car off early, but before we even left our home (early) we were bombarded by phone calls from the windshield people saying we needed to get the car there now because the installer was there at that time. Our appointment wasn't for two more hours! We were originally told that the windshield replacement had to occur after detailing and relayed this back to the pushy individual on the other end of the line. He agreed and backed off. We dropped the car off and went home. Several hours later we received a call telling us that the car was done. We went to pick it up and found out that no, it wasn't ready. They had replaced the windshield but had not done the detailing! (Completely opposite of what they said they were going to do!) We should have taken the car back home then, but we left it there like a couple of rubes. A few hours later we got a call and they said the car really was done this time. We went and picked it up and left before anything else could happen. The detailer promised us he would make the car look like it did the day we drove it off the lot. He said he would make it shine like it was brand new. If you ever find yourself at this place, DO NOT BELIEVE THIS MAN. He buffed some of the clear coat off the car and made scratches in the paint. Some of the paint is missing on the edges of the doors. There are also scratches on the brand new windshield! Once the damage to the paint is fixed we will gladly drive the car as far as we have to in order to get a decent wash and detailing. We will never go to this place again. I do not know how these people are in business. They are pushy, rude, and absolutely incompetent. read more

Been coming here for years, last time was questionable but was in a hurry today and it's close. One car before me and it took 30 mins before my car even got in line to get wet. Vacuumed for under three mins. And I told them I had limited time , asking if they were behind. The guy mumbled something and walked away-- I should have left them. Will not be back. I go to this car wash because it is right next to my house. Well that is until now. I went on 8/27. I pulled up, told them what I wanted, no problem. As soon as I stepped away from my car the "windshield salesman" starts asking if I wanted to replace my windshield(there is a tiny chip). I said no and that it had been there forever. Instead of saying ok and being done he throws me twenty questions about my insurance, I could get a ticket for a cracked windshield, it could spread...etc. The guy went on and on. I understand its his job but I clearly said NO. That should have been enough. I watched my car go through the wash and noticed half of the machine was broken and not even moving. As my car exited and I paid, I asked the girl at the desk if she knew the machine was broken. She said "Yes, we are waiting for a part." I said "and it is still the same price". She said "Yes". I told her they should tell the people that come in that part of the matching is not working so they can decide to go in or go to another one. She didnt say anything to that. She then asked me if I wanted my change. "Of coarse I want my change." I walked out to get my car. The guy drying it off waved me over to get my car and it was obvious he did a half ass job drying it I pointed out a few spots all around the car where he hadn't even touched. After like 2 or 3 spots I could tell he was getting annoyed, as was I. I told him to just stop and that I would dry it when I got home. I for sure will not go back to this place. I paid for the VIP wash and it was a complete waste of money. The interior looked like they didn't even vacuum it and none of my windows were cleaned. When I asked the attendant who was "cleaning" my car to wipe the windows and the water running down the back bumper from the trunk he gave me attitude.
