With a great casual atmosphere and welcoming staff the potential here is great!! The blackened fish tacos were probably the best I have ever had. Perfectly seasoned and balanced with the slaw, pickled onion, and sauce. Definitely a must have on the menu. The kitchen is definitely still learning the menu and so is the staff, so consistency is a man issue at the moment. But I spoke with the manager and they are working to make all the fixes. They have only soft opened at this point and trying hard to train the kitchen and staff. Don't give up on this place just yet. Give them a month or two to correct and train. I know I will be back!!

First of all, weird happenstance to pop in here, second time here. First time here was great but second time was amazing. Got here Tuesday 9pm, and the kitchen was JUST closed. I mentioned this to the bartender who was super sweet and said she would talk to the kitchen. A gentleman from the kitchen came out and gave me a couple options. I threw out wings just hoping for any level of sustenance. Boy was I surprised. Smoked, grilled wings that fell off the bone with an incredibly tasty. Honestly might be the best wings I've ever had. Really that good. If you can master a dry rub to this level, I'm all in. I would 1000x overall suggest Frankie Bs. Please please please check this place out. Kudos to the staff for being so accommodating and wonderful; not to mention with amazing food.

First time here and was seated right away. They have high top tables, booths, low tops and two bars!!! Super clean! Painted concrete floors. Very slippery with the chairs. Waitress was super friendly. Two of us have food intolerance so we had lots of questions. She was super patient. Ordered a pomegranate margarita with salt brim! Wow! Probably the best I ever had! Was starting to get busy after we placed our orders. I have high anxiety so I was worried with the sound would have caused me to have attacks, but it wasn't bad at all. Super cold. But I run cold so don't judge that by me. Anything temperature under 75° and I'm cold. Manager stopped by to make sure we were good and checked to see how service was. That was nice. Portions are huge! Got the fried scallops and shrimp , with a side of onion rings and crispy brussel sprouts. Super good and everything was cook great! Over all very pleased with our experience! Would definitely recommend if in the area or looking for a local spot to call your own! Best part is they bring the sky tab over to your table so your debit / credit doesn't leave you!

Came up to visit a friend and she recommended this place as it had recently opened and she was eager to try it. We were not disappointed in any way, the drinks were mixed well, the food tasted great, the portions were heafty. Everyone took some food home. Our waitress, Sophie, was great... very friendly, impressive that she didn't have to write anything down and everything was perfect. The manager checked in on us twice. Would definitely swing back to this place in the future!

Food is always great. Service is excellent and has a really great vibe. If you like watching sports or having great conversions with your friends while enjoy delicious food then this is your place. Truffle Parm fries for win. Everything we've tried has been tasty. Meaty ribs, moist brisket. Def an add to our restaurant rotation.

Hubby & I were excited about having a new bbq place in town. We met up with friends (group of 5) for lunch as we have all been waiting for the opening of Frankie B's Tavern. Please read entire review to learn about both the hits & misses we experienced. We visited a few weeks after they opened. They're still working on improving things. For example, some reviews mentioned the music being too loud. During our visit, he music was at a 'background music' level and we found it easy to converse. The dining room was clean with an updated tavern feel (not rustic). We sat at a half booth/half chair table with 2 tabletops to talk over. The menu has a nice selection of food with their own spin. Hubby & I have been excited to try their bbq as we don't have any bbq restaurants here in Vernon that we know of. I ordered the brisket sandwich, opting to have it without the onions or cheese. (Brisket sandwiches are not traditionally served with onions and certainly not topped with cheese.) I wanted to give it a try nonetheless. (Brisket is my favorite when it comes to bbq. I grew up in Texas & lived in Alabama for most of my 20's. Lots of excellent bbq readily available in those areas.) The brisket sandwich was a disappointment. The brisket was chopped, which is how I like it on my sandwich. It didn't taste like brisket is supposed to taste. To me it tasted like something that was purchased already prepared and then heated up. The sauce had a smoked flavor but it was clear this meat had never been in a smoker. The fries had zero flavor, not even potato flavor. It was the weirdest thing. Hubby ordered the half pound brisket platter with potato salad. What he got was a thin strip of meat that did not look like brisket. There were no grains in the meat and brisket has a very distinct grain. Again, smoke flavoring but not actually smoked. The portion seemed small, possibly because it was sliced oddly. Neither of us would order any bbq here again unless we could smell a smoker going from the parking lot. The potato salad was seasoned so heavily that we couldn't eat it. I was trying to figure out the pronounced flavors - maybe dried celery/celery seed & onion. I couldn't taste the potato over the bitterness of the seasoning. Hubby has asked me if I think the people running this place has ever tasted the food they serve. The corn bread was decent. It's on the sweet side but not overly sweet, which I can appreciate. Not my favorite but I will eat it because I love cornbread. It tastes like there may be a touch of honey in it which gives it a better flavor than being sweetened using sugar. That's a win for their cornbread. The friend seated next to me ordered fish & chips. Growing up in the UK, fish & chips is a staple. She must have enjoyed it because she cleaned her plate and she normally picks at her food & eats like a bird. The fish was very lightly battered so it probably won't sit as heavy in your stomach as traditional battered fish. (See photo) Another friend ordered the Que burger and enjoyed it very much. It was a good sized portion so you won't be hungry if you order it. He mentioned a few times how good it was so we may give that a try on our next visit. One of our friends tried the fish tacos and really liked them. They came stuffed with ingredients. I think she finished one taco plus her fries and took the other 2 tacos home. It was a hearty meal and she raved about it. I ordered sweet tea to round out my meal. I asked the waitress if it was flavored or plain - she said it was plain. It wasn't. It had a very strong (unnatural) lemon flavor, which made it tart. I don't like lemon in my tea at all. Freshly brewed tea with simple syrup would be so much better. The service is slow. We spent 2 hours for lunch. Hopefully things will click soon & they can accommodate people on their lunch break in a timely manner. (It wasn't very busy for a weekday at noon.) Between the waitress' lack of confidence & the kitchen being so slow, I would guess they have a very inexperienced staff for the most part. Hubby observed a different waitress at a nearby table that had confidence in herself and exhibited the friendly customer service skills that we appreciate. Our waitress seemed unsure & nervous, which I think made it difficult for her to be as friendly as other staff members. We'll return in a couple of months when the staff has had more experience & can get us fed and out the door in a more timely manner. We will probably try the burgers next time. I truly hope the kinks get worked out because their menu is enticing and very creative. They have the potential to be successful if they can improve the level of service & timeliness. Overall, with the exception of the brisket, this place gets good marks for food based on the comments from our lunch companions. I took one star off for the brisket and sides that we had, & the other came off for slow service.

Came here on short notice with a large group from work and quickly got a private room assigned (nice!) With a really nice dedicated waitress. She was the best part of the experience always there and making sure the team was taken care of. Ambiance was nice as well, nice wooden tables, rustic modern vibe, definitely got the upscale bar vibe going. Pricing isn't too bad, drinks are reasonable and food prices reflect an upscale bar atmosphere. A few issues though, minor and major - parking is a pain, good if they're busy but parking lot not big enough and the area isn't conducive to street parking. Never a fan of stressing about parking. Bigger issue is the food quality is very mediocre. Chicken tenders looked worse and cost more than raising canes (and weren't crispy nor full of chicken). Nachos lacked enough topping - it was like 80% chips... you can't skimp on the cheese... or the meat. Fries weren't that crispy... wings were decent but definitely not enough blue cheese for a double order (should have brought 2 or 3, not just 1). Would like to come back here if the food can match the rest of the venue.

While technically a sports bar, the food and drink quality is way above a normal sports bar. Right off the bat they serve waters. For mg first drink, I'm having a Black Manhattan made with Elijah Craig Small Batch, Carpano Antica, black walnut bitters and filthy cherries. Filthy Black Cherries are premium, all-natural Italian Amarena cherries, slow-cooked in copper pots and widely recognized as a top-tier garnish for whiskey and tequila cocktails, such as Old Fashioneds and Manhattans. Known for a sweet-tart flavor profile, they are a favorite among professional bartenders for their firm texture and rich syrup. The Manhattan is a classic, spirit-forward cocktail made with whiskey (traditionally rye), sweet vermouth, and Angostura bitters, stirred with ice and strained into a chilled glass, typically garnished with a maraschino cherry or a lemon twist. It's known for being strong, sophisticated, and balanced, with a mix of spicy, sweet, and bitter notes. This is real good. It is nicely garnished and perfectly balanced. I think the bartender is the owner. For out first appetizer, we are getting the Fornarelli's Meatballs. These are these of their "famous" meatballs made with their signature marinara sauce with fresh basil and mozzarella. These are good! Wow! We are next getting the Onion Rings which are their signature house-made onion rings fried golden brown with chipotle aioli. Yep. These are good! I like the sauce! For our third appetizer, we are getting the Sicilian Calamari which is fresh calamari and hot cherry peppers fried with their signature marinara sauce. These are tasty! I love the sauce! Sprinkle that lemon! For my next drink, I'm having the Pearly Old Fashioned made with Maker's Mark, filthy cherries, Cara Cara orange, raw sugar and Angostura bitters. For my entree, I'm having the Chicken Piccata made with chicken breast sautéed with artichokes and capers in a white wine sauce and chefs choice of starch and veggies. This is delicious! I love the sauce! For dessert, I'm having the Nonna's Tiramisu. This is their authentic tiramisu recipe just like Nonna used to make! We are also getting the Covonut Gelato Truffle made with coconut gelato, mango sorbet center enrobed by chocolate and coconut flakes. This is the biggest chunk of tiramisu I've ever had! We had a group of 8 ppl excited to try this place out. As soon as we walked through the door everyone in the establishment stared at us as they whispered. The crowd was far from inviting or friendly. We approach the bar and on 2 occasions the folks playing pool told us we were in their way..(understandable..@Racks why place pool tables so close to the bar that makes it difficult for a large party to be able to order drinks??) Most of our party was able to order their drinks except for my self..my brother and a friend. A Man(brown skin) we DIDNT KNOW approached the bar and had an exchange of words with one his bartenders following up on a question he asked her to to confirm with the owner. She became flustered told him off claiming he was disrespectful etc..( this guy was by far very polite to her while I was standing there and was following up on the price of 10 shots) She DEFINITELY over reacted and made me feel very uncomfortable. She walks to the back.. at that point a friend of ours reached over to get the drink the bartender poured for him before she walked away and left us unattended wondering wth just happened. The Jameson bottle she used was empty and our friend thought it would be comical to pick up the empty Jameson bottle and make a sad face that there was no more since we needed a 2nd drink of Jameson. Bad timing to say the least..the owner/bartender approaches the bar ready for WAR!
