Instead, I was presented with a $407.25 additional charge upon pickup, and I needed my car as the rental had been returned that day. The invoice showed 2 charges that are typically absorbed in a claim; and were not submitted to insurance for prior approval, so fell to me. If Sunnyside was unable to complete repairs at the amount approved by insurance, they should have sent in a request for supplement, and/or advised me of additional charges expected so that I could have the option to select another repair facility. I feel my claim was handled very unprofessionally and exemplifies a questionable business practice. I want others to be aware before choosing to support this business.
