I had have 10 Andersen windows installed previously, some Woodwright which I stained and some 400…read moreseries which I painted to match woodwork. All replacement. Matera installed some of them. Salesman this time upsold me new construction windows and I was leaving in a few days for a month so I wanted ot get them ordered. I painted them prior to installation. The installation was horrific - tiny cracks in the plaster now large requiring patching, pieces of plaster ripped off the wall requiring patching and painting entire walls. But the worst was the excessive and beyond shoddy caulking. I've never seen caulking so poorly done. Matera Bldrs.had completely redone my kitchen 9 years ago and the work, including caulking was excellent. This was appaling. I sent photos to Bob and he tried to defend work he knew was indefensible. He sent someone to try to fix some of the caulk but it was no better and I sent photos to Bob again. My woodwork is a different color then the walls and now there were no right angles, making painting sloppy. Bob and workers acknowledge that I am a good painter but this was impossble. Bob did discount the work some and did eventually apologize but that didn't help what was fairly pristine before the installation. They treated my $13,000 investment casually and carelessly. It's clear they can't get or keep skilled workers. First photo is windows before installation. Have many more after

We purchased windows from this company about 10 years ago. Bad move. The windows are poor quality…read moreand the installation was absolutely horrible. The flashing and the channeling around the windows was done so poorly, I had to add caulk to the corners to close the gaps and the caulking they did do was done with a substandard caulk that never cured correctly and literally "washed" off the house creating white streaks under all the windows. During the installation, they broke out our old windows and left shards of glass inside and outside the house for us to find for months (fortunately our young children were not hurt). Ever since then, every attempt to engage them has been met with rude and unprofessional people. They offer no help to resolve problems and will not even engage another contractor we recently used who replaced our roof and broke one of our windows. He and my wife both were rudely treated when calling the office to try and find replacement parts for the window. The woman on the phone indicated that since we had no receipt she couldn't help us and it wasn't their responsibility to keep records for customers. How these people continue to be in business baffles me. STAY CLEAR! *Update: My contractor called on our behalf (not posing as us), and then my wife called and spoke to someone and when the only option they gave us was to PAY them to come out and replace the window, my wife stated that she only wanted the part because they did shoddy work for us in the past. She never left any message... she was speaking to a very unprofessional employee. Later that night here are the 2 voicemails we got from them: http://goo.gl/wL0dXE http://goo.gl/gjphsB Sorry Window Wholesalers... I'm not so easily intimidated.

There should be a NEGATIVE 10 star rating for this TERRIBLE company. DO NOT DO BUSINESS OF ANY KIND…read moreWITH THIS DISHONEST COMPANY!! I was stupid enough without doing my homework to sign a contract for 10 windows in my home only a few months ago. The work was terrible and of course I had to pay upfront. The outside capping has so many gaps in it. It is so sloppy and so unprofessional. I can't believe this company is still in business. I called several times, but each time I called there was no record of my previous call. I wrote down the person's name each time I called, but they always told me there was no one by that name that worked there then I would get "disconnected." This went on for too long. I finally said if Mitchell, the owner, did not call me, I was going to the BBB. He then finally called me. I explained my concerns and he replied very rudely, "Thank God it's not cancer." He got loud and threatening and tried to bully me into thinking I was wrong. Since, I've gotten several independent estimates from 2 other companies both telling me, along with my skilled handyman that if I don't get them redone properly, it could cost thousands down the road when my framing is rotting. Bees and bugs are getting in all of the gaps. The only thing W.W. offered was to caulk gaps and bend back the framing. THATS NOT GOING TO FIX A MAJOR PROBLEM. It's like throwing a drop of water on a fire! PLEASE TRUST THESE REVIEWS AND DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH WINDOW WHOLESALERS. PAY a reputable company a bit more and get it done right. UPDATE!!!!!! OMG! Tuesday, Sept. 12th, I woke up hearing noises which bean to REALLY SCARE me as I thought someone was breaking into my home!! I won't describe the panic I was feeling, but when I realized what the noises were, I got VERY ANGRY...it was Window Wholesalers! I DID NOT GIVE THEM PERMISSION to come back to my home as I don't trust them, nor did I want the frames bent and caulked as they said would "fix the problem". I specifically TOLD THEM I WOULD NOT BE SATISFIED WITH BENT CAPPING AND CAULKED CAPPING. THERE SHOULD BE NO PROBLEMS, as my windows are only 8 MONTHS old! There were 2 men on ladders bending my capping and caulking. I told them to get off of my property and I called the police. They grabbed their ladders and went running to their truck. Apparently Mitchell was trying to have them alter the capping. Maybe so my pictures would no longer match the terrible installation job they did. AGAIN, DO NOT USE WINDOW WHOLESALERS!

5 Stars - Exceptional Work by Veterans Roofing…read more We had a fantastic experience with Veterans Roofing, an Owens Corning Platinum Preferred Contractor that employs many Veterans--a detail that was meaningful to us, as my husband is a Veteran himself. Our home sits in a very windy, ocean-facing area in South Jersey, and despite being only four years old, our existing roof had a major leak above the living room fireplace. After several failed repairs by others, we were referred to Veterans Roofing. From the start, sales rep Kevin Alberto was outstanding. He did a deep inspection and clearly explained the underlying issues: rotted plywood, loose shingles, and incomplete flashing. His transparency gave us the confidence to move forward. Project lead Jordan and his crew were incredibly professional. Jordan began by carefully protecting our attic HVAC system, then provided ongoing updates with photos and commentary--giving us real peace of mind that the job was being done right. His leadership was calm, capable, and respectful to his team. Cleanup was thorough, including a magnetic sweep to catch stray nails. From start to finish, the work was top-tier, and the customer experience was just as impressive. Highly recommend Veterans Roofing to anyone seeking quality, professionalism, and integrity. If you're looking for a roofing company that combines quality craftsmanship, excellent communication, and true professionalism, Veterans Roofing is the one. They are an Owens Corning Platinum Preferred Contractor and proudly employ many Veterans--which resonated with us, as my husband is also a Veteran. We live in a very windy, ocean-facing location in Brigantine. Although our roof was only four years old, we had a persistent leak above the fireplace in our living room. After several failed fixes, we were referred to Veterans Roofing--and they delivered. Kevin Alberto, the sales rep, conducted a deep dive inspection and pointed out serious underlying issues like disintegrating plywood and poor flashing. His clear, honest assessment made all the difference. Jordan, who led the crew, was phenomenal. He started by protecting our attic A/C unit and then kept us in the loop with progress updates and photos throughout the day. He was supportive and effective in guiding his crew--and gave us complete confidence in the process. The job was finished beautifully, and cleanup was thorough and thoughtful, including a magnet sweep for nails. We couldn't be happier with the results. Veterans Roofing is the real deal--superb work, excellent service, and a team that truly takes pride in what they do.
