Thankfully, we feel like we struck gold after being referred by my former hygienist. I first contacted Dr. Martin's office about five months ago and was warmly greeted by Anetra. She confirmed that Dr. Martin accepted our insurance and was accepting new patients. She kindly made appointments for both my wife and me and also helped us get set up on their website so we could complete our registration online before our first visit. Anetra was helpful, professional, and welcoming throughout the entire process. We also love that Dr. Martin's office is less than a mile from our home! Fast-forward to our appointments. I had Jennifer as my hygienist, while my wife had Shannon. Both were familiar with our previous dentist and my former hygienist, which immediately helped us feel comfortable. They were friendly, thorough, and had a gentle touch while cleaning our teeth. Most importantly, we felt the same level of comfort and confidence that we had with our previous dental office. Then we met Dr. Martin, and our confidence only grew. He was incredibly friendly and professional, took the time to update our dental charts, and pointed out things about my teeth that I had never been made aware of before. We couldn't have been happier with our experience or more confident about becoming part of the Dr. Martin patient family! One thing we really don't like about some dental offices is feeling like you're just a number--a patient being moved through the office as quickly as possible, where quantity seems to take priority over quality. We also appreciate a practice that doesn't pressure patients into unnecessary or unexpected services, such as sealants, fluoride treatments, panoramic X-rays, or sensitive-gum treatments, particularly when those services may not be necessary or covered by insurance. Thankfully, we experienced none of that at Dr. Martin's office. We never felt pressured by Dr. Martin or any member of his staff. Instead, we felt that if a service were ever recommended, it would be because it was appropriate for our dental needs and would be clearly explained to us beforehand. That level of transparency is exactly what builds trust.
