I have been a patient of theirs for a few years. I'm very satisfied with their care. Very knowledgeable and they listen to your concerns.

God Bless Dr. Frank Ditz! This wonderful and caring doctor stepped up in my time of need and kept…read moreme from experiencing permanent damage to my health and likely even saved my life. After being diagnosed with COVID-19, my longtime Health First doctor (Dr. Kiron Malhotra) absolutely REFUSED to treat me in any way and even refused to have a video or telephonic consultation with me, and only told me to go to the emergency room if I need medical assistance. So, I went to the Emergency Room at Holmes Regional Medical Center in Melbourne (I have a Health First Insurance Plan) for treatment. I could barely breathe. I was weak. I was so very sick. And that ER treated me so terribly and did nothing more than take a chest X-Ray and send me on my way. Nothing more! They refused to give me any water, even though I'd been there for hours. I was cold because I had a fever and asked for a blanket, and they essentially tossed it on my bed from the door and left. I did my best, but I was too weak to unfold it and fully cover myself. Then when it was time to be discharged, after being there for hours without any meaningful treatment, I was told to get dressed and go. They didn't even offer to wheelchair me out or even an escort through the ER labyrinth to the exit. I was so weak that I had to be wheelchaired INTO the ER and back to the ER room, yet I had to ask for someone to wheelchair me to the exit. The treatment I received at HRMC's ER was just awful. The next day I reached out again to Dr. Malhotra's office and I told them that the ER did nothing and asked if the doctor would at least talk to me. I was told no, and that if I needed medical assistance that the only options available was to go to the ER. After the nightmare of the last ER visit there was no way I would go back there. I was so desperate for help. I was taking a prescription medication that was prescribed by the Urgent Care the day I was diagnosed (powerful steroids) that was causing my blood sugar to go into the 400s. I didn't know what to do and my doctor was refusing to help me. That's when I turned to my friends on Facebook and posted the post in the photo. Well, that post garnered quite a bit of attention, including the attention of Dr. Frank Ditz, who by the way is NOT a Health First doctor. This doctor who didn't even know me reached out to me and offered to take care of me and my fiance, who also was sick with COVID, until we were fully healed and WITHOUT CHARGING US A DIME! And that is just what he did! I owe him so much for taking care of me and being there when my own doctor abandoned me - it's been over a month since I reported to my own doctor my diagnosis and she has never once to this day called to check on me or to see if I even survived - PATHETIC! Without a moment's hesitation, i highly, HIGHLY, recommend Dr. Ditz - he is a wonderful and caring doctor - a rare combination these days indeed!

I've been a patient of Dr. Dietz for over three years. The doctor himself is excellent, and the PA…read morehas also been great to work with. Unfortunately, my experience with the office management has been extremely disappointing. The office manager, Julie, has been consistently unprofessional and rude. I have personally witnessed and experienced her raising her voice at patients over the phone, abruptly hanging up, and responding in a hostile way to basic billing questions. At one point, it felt like patients were being discouraged--or even threatened with discharge--simply for asking for clarification. What's most concerning is the lack of accountability. When trying to escalate concerns, I was told there is no one above her to speak with, which makes resolving issues nearly impossible. It's unfortunate because the medical care itself is good, but the front office experience significantly impacts the overall level of care. Due to these ongoing issues, we are in the process of filing a complaint with the medical board. I would strongly recommend considering other options until these management concerns are addressed.

Dr Aurand first saw me a year and a half ago. I have multiple fusions and had been on pain control…read morefor over twenty years. My first request was that he help me get off the narcotics. I currently had a broken foot and he convinced me to continue. Well, I thought he cared. Almost a year to the day after I first saw him he prescribed a generic narcotic patch that I had told him from day one that I was allergic to the glue. He insisted I HAD TO TRY IT AGAIN to DOCUMENT it. I had documented it multiple times. He knew best. I went to Ga to visit my family. Had been there two days when I walked by the mirror and my lips and eyelids were swollen to the point that they subsequently burst. I looked up the symptoms to find I was going into anaphylactic shock by way of angio edema. After being administered IV steroids as a life saving measure Dr Aurand , nor his office would respond to my pleas for help or direction, neither would he return the call to the emergency clinic. I forgave him and went back. A big mistake. I have since gone though withdrawal on my own because he cares so little as to not even tell me some natural things I could do to lesson my suffering. Simple things like antihistamines, anti diarrheal meds, etc I have never dr shopped. And my pharmacy record would stand in any court. I need to mention that a colonoscopy gone wrong had left me at barely 100 lbs and still vomiting violently. Under these conditions he ignored my suffering. Kept me dependent until it no longer suited him. It was all or nothing with him. It almost cost my life because I also have asthma and didn't know withdrawal causes this to be ten times more dangerous. He and his staff did though and offered me nothing , but grief for taking their time. There is a sign in his office that reads: the staff will handle your calls as a courtesy??? I thought that was their job. And heaven help you if you are female and don't look like Quasimodo. That secretary there will go as far as to tell you there are no appointments for the next month when you are standing there with check out orders to be back in a month and only have a months worth of meds. I went so far as to have my husband call her and there were many available appointments. Men, you might do okay there but I would not send anyone I cared about to this office. You may see the kindly dr I did. But when one's life is at its lowest you can count on this office to IGNORE you as long as they get your money. Thank you for allowing me to post.
