I, actually, thought about bailing and stiffing her with the bill. I got the bill and inquired why my lunch was $16.50 instead of the menu price of $14.00. Oh, she told me there is now a $2.50 upcharge for soup? There went her tip, which she did not earn anyway. I am a Pharmaceutical Sales person who has had several CME Dinner meetings at this location. The Alta flavor of the Casamara Club was a bit too black licorice-y for my taste but I'm super interested in trying other flavors- fun to try and I'm really glad they had it. They also have food trucks so that was a fun addition to the evening. It's always great to explore different places in Detroit!
