I'm not a fan of beer, in fact I don't enjoy beer so you might think my review is useless. I can't stand the taste. I drank the beer flight here. Loved the maple flavored one and the stout. It's weird i dislike beer but enjoy a good stout when it has hints of coffee or chocolate. The stout at Brew has hints of chocolate and it's delicious. The food was amazing. Not a big menu, which is perfect. They have a few food items that they do very well. The pretzel with the malted bacon ( which I would go to Ontario just for malted bacon) was to die for. Nachos were great too. I started at the Marriott Renaissance hotel so this was a quick drive over the bridge. Certainly worth it. Oh and they had a great autistic guitar band also! read more

This weekend, my boyfriend and I were coming down to Windsor for a friend's wedding and a walk we do annually for Cystic Fibrosis, and since we were visiting, we decided we wanted to do a couple brewery tours. Since I hail from this city, and my boyfriend love Craft beers, we decided to come to Brew Microbrewery. I had called ahead a couple days before to book a tour, and as we walked in, we were promptly greeted, and since I had called ahead, it was known that we were the ones for the tour. My boyfriend is from London, so he was excited to tour Windsor and get a taste of what this city has to offer. The brewery itself was small an intimate and when explaining the brewing process to get that perfect craft beer, the passion and excitement, how they started out and learned from the brewing masters. It was exciting to learn how it was done and how they make each of their different beers to extract the flavours from the hops. I am not a beer drinker myself, but I did try one of their beer cocktails, the Bananaweizen with the Canadian Maple Brew. It was delicious. My boyfriend had the flight with Proper Lager, Canadian Maple, and the Wayne Dark Ale. He liked them all. Safe to say we got some to go. Thank you so much for the tour and the delicious beer! Next time we're going to try their food menu. They incorporate their beer into each of the food items to give it that delicious kick. I have always loved local, and I am happy that local breweries are popping up just about everywhere, not only is that good for the economy, but it's a wonderful experience to have a great tasting beer made in your hometown where you're proud you came from. read more

I am not normally a huge fan of beer, but this place blew me away with theirs! I went with a group of 5 to sit down and try some Canadian beer on a Friday afternoon. It is a quaint, rustic place with an extremely friendly staff. We sat ourselves and immediately a bartender came over to take our order. We all ordered the flight of beer which was a cup-sized tasting of 3 beers, Lager, Maple, and Stout. We started with the lightest beer, the Lager, and it was delicious. It was a fresh twist on the traditional, mass-produced beer. Next was the Maple beer, which was smooth, and refreshing. Lastly, the Stout had a rich chocolate and coffee flavor. The Stout was my least favorite considering I am not a coffee fan! While we were there, we also ordered The Big Pretzel as a compliment to our beer, and it was yummy. They do have a small menu of food items as well as take-home beers and apparel. The staff was welcoming and very knowledgeable about the brewery which was a nice addition to the whole experience. Before every tasting, we were able to sit down and chat about the beer we were about to taste. At the end of our tasting, we got a round of our favorite pints and had a great time. Overall, I would recommend this place to anyone from beer fanatics to those who unsure about beer, like I am. Great excursion on our trip to Windsor! read more

Wonderful beer, friendly owner, and BOMB pretzel! Great off the beaten path brewery we found when visiting for the day from Detroit. The owner was so friendly and helpful. All three beers we had were delicious but the maple brown was our favorite. They can it as well so we were able to take some to go. Would highly recommend a stop in here while in Windsor. read more

This place is amazing! Come for the beer, stay for the yummy snacks, pizzas, friendly service, and more beer. The Proper Lager is always a good idea, but definitely try any seasonal or special beer they have on. They are going to do some darker beers soon, with a stout coming out this week (can't wait!) so there's always something perfect for your mood. The food is perfect for a small but hip brewery, with all of the dishes featuring an ingredient from one of their beers - how cool is that?! Grab a pizza or two with friends, or try a snack like their nachos (my favourite!) and you can't go wrong. The bottom line: while the beer is delicious, the unique food, cool-but-cozy atmosphere, and super friendly service are all bonus factors that keep this place as good as it gets. read more

This place is awesome. Good beer, decent appetizers. I'd highly recommend getting the beer float, it's pretty unique! Although they don't have as much variety with the different kinds of beer they brew, the beer that do have is really good. Not a whole lotta seating on the main floor but they do have a roof patio which is pretty nice on a cool summers night! As for the pretzels, they are pretty good. Staff is really friendly, and overall the atmosphere is chill. read more

I hate to criticize this place because I truly do love their beer and the location is good but man.... we walked in hoping for a chill vibe to grab a beer but the music was crazy house/trance, which was a bad juxtaposition to the ambience and pub-crowd. Something left to be desired with the service and food. FYI no liquor just beer. read more
