After a refrigerator leak caused water damage to our engineered hardwood floor, I called three…read moredifferent flooring companies for an estimate on either a repair or replacement. Due to the age of the floor, and the unavailability of the existing floor product, we had to do a complete replacement. My wife and I were most impressed with Michael Yanez, owner of Best Budget Flooring and Remodeling, so we chose his company for our wood floor replacement. We couldn't be more impressed with the entire process. Best Budget replaced our engineered hardwood with luxury vinyl flooring. It only took Michael's flooring and painting teams three days to complete the project. The floor is approximately 1000 square feet. They moved all of our furniture, hung plastic to prevent dust from invading the rest of our home, removed the quarter round, removed the old floor, sanded and prepped the foundation, installed the new floor, repaired the water damaged baseboards, installed new quarter round, painted all of the baseboards, cleaned up after themselves, and moved all furniture to exactly where we wanted it. We were blown away with how quickly the project was completed. My wife and I absolutely love our new floor. Michael and his team were knowledgeable, professional and very courteous. Michael visited our home several times throughout the three days to make sure everything was going well. I couldn't be more impressed, and we would absolutely use Best Budget Flooring again. We highly recommend this outstanding company.

They have sections of the showroom floor (about 6x6 maybe?) done in different flooring, so you can see what it looks like better than just a plank. Handling of the order was without issues. I don't think they have their own installers, but they gave us a name (Elvis), and he couldn't have been better. They showed up on time, finished quickly, and without incident. Floor looked great. I might also add that the reason we went there in the first place, was because everyone we talked to in Tyler recommended them as the only place to go.

The contractor, calling himself "Anthony" or "Andy," used aggressive sales tactics, including taking a plank of my flooring and pressuring me to pay a 50% deposit of $2,001.80 on November 11, 2024 - Veterans Day. No contract was signed. Feeling uneasy about his pushy behavior and inconsistencies, I canceled the project on November 14, 2024, before any work began. Despite this, the contractor has ignored all communication and unlawfully kept my deposit ($2,001.80) and flooring sample materials (valued at $107.06 per box).
