The person in charge has taken my measurements two or three times and has readjusted the fit of my glasses several times, but I'm still having issues. The focus is off, and when I'm driving, I literally have to move my head all the way down just to see properly. It's extremely frustrating and honestly shouldn't be happening with a new pair of glasses. The price with insurance was good, but unfortunately, the service and results have not been what I expected. I would seriously recommend thinking twice before going here, especially if you need anything more complicated than basic lenses. Maybe they do a better job with simple glasses, but my experience with progressive/Transitions lenses has been very disappointing.

Visual Eyes recently reopened after engaging in a total renovation and expansion of its flagship…read morestore in Mizner Park, where they have been since 1987. The new look is stunning. They have used 3 basic colors - white, white, and white. And the look is clean modern and allows all the frames on display to pop! See pics. And now to a point which a few reviewers on Yelp and Google mentioned. And it has to do with attitude of the staff. From my own observation it appears that some sales representatives (they may have a fancy name but let's be honest, their primary role is to close sales of frames and lens) may be a bit ATTITUDINAL. So it's critical that you connect with a person that is a good fit for you. I was fortunate to connect with DAVID COSTA, and after several visits to the store and discussions on the phone, I am appreciative that we connected. David is a consummate professional. He knows the technical aspects of fitting someone for lens, and exudes confidence when he "marks" lens for the proper placement on your eyes/ face. Most importantly, his attitude was a great fit for me. He appreciated my unique sense of humor. Followed my endless chatter. And he was calm, patient and willing to spend as much time as needed to show me and my husband dozens of frames, respectfully. He is well spoken, clearly well educated, and a sharp dresser, without overdoing it. His vibe allowed us to select new frames and lens for each of us, replacement new lens in a pair of sunglasses, and new lens in my existing frame. A healthy sale, at least by my budget. The depth and quality of the frames is impressive. Many foreign designed and manufactured. A treat to look through them. So if you're looking for high quality merchandise and extraordinary service, come here and ask for DAVID COSTA.

Update: they fixed my prescription!…read more So I have been going to this location for about 5 years and I bring my children as well! We see Dr. Garcia. Great doctor! Well the front desk staff was beyond rude, not only did they keep confusing my daughters names and I have to make sure my kids had to correct prescription. they do not tell you the cost of anything till you are done! Surprise billing at its finest! Then get mad at the customer because they didn't do their job! Well I got a contact exam and now I call today the guy on the phone said yes you can order daily contacts and they are about $100 a box! I said okay he said I will call you back and he calls back to say oh you are blocked in our system you can't order contacts! So I sent my prescription to 1-800 contacts to order and they said nope you can't get daily's only weekly's! So I call back and a manger finally gets on the phone and acts like someone is lying about contacts and asks what samples did I get I said daily she then said I will call you back when I see what samples u actually got! Then why did the guy earlier offer me daily's to buy ?? So now I have a prescription I can't use! So I paid a ton of money for something I can't use lmao! Highly don't recommend! And I noticed there's a quite a few bad reviews on Google of the same thing about the office staff!

I was first met by Optician and Owner Jeff Bilfeld, we chatted about our similar backgrounds both being from NYC! He couldn't have been nicer! I was in love with the store from the moment I stepped in! It's in a cute little house! I have never seen so many choices and varieties as well as amazing frames from companies I've never heard of that couldn't have been more unique! He told me they have an optician on site to do an eye exam and that they can have your new prescriptions ready same day and in an hour! Well all this sounded amazing and then I had my appointment! The optician I saw was so nice, the service was straight to the point! I left two pairs of glasses and had one more for them to do when I picked up my first two! When I saw what the price was for the three glasses done exactly how I wanted with all the "bells and whistles", I was blown away! One pair of my glasses couldn't be done for the price of the three back in NYC! I can't wait to go back and pick out another frame really soon! Jeff wears the most unique frames and we picked out ones by the same company he wears that we would like for my face! He isn't pushy, he isn't telling you get it now, he just said when you are ready come in! Plus a place that's completely dog friendly always wins in my book and my puppies tummy! Don't go anywhere but here! Run don't walk to go get your new frames whether they are for vision or merely a new pair of sunglasses, his selection is better than any you will find elsewhere and it's right in the heart of downtown Boca!
