He gave me techniques to use at home that straightened out my walking on my left foot and relieved a lot of knee pain The second session that I had with him was to help me align my back. He says to me you have pressure on the right side of your head and he showed me techniques to use to relieve the pressure he also informed me of why I was having the pressure and what I needed to do about it and it worked. Overall, an extraordinary experience in healing. Dr. Steve and his team are consummate professionals and are guiding me, not pushing me, through a healing strategy that feels both appropriate and is getting results. Having the surgery done in Northwest Hospital was a terrible mistake, and I ended up filing a formal complaint against the hospital for dreadful treatment by the nurses. Dr. Silverstein spent all of 30 seconds checking on me post-op in the hospital, and I sent him a copy of my Northwest Hospital complaint via letter because I thought he would want the full story of what a terrible experience it was. He didn't seem to care, and never acknowledged the letter. Message received: patients don't matter. Later, he said something to the effect of, "Sorry my response was not to your satisfaction." That was a laugh, because there was no response at all, nor any acknowledgment whatsoever. When I got hold of the hospital notes for my surgery through Northwest later, it was eye-opening in how I was discussed. I never went back to Dr. Silverstein because of being totally ignored and a poor result from my surgery. Zero trust. Beware! And whatever you do, I warn you to look up all the reviews of Northwest Hospital. My experience there was a nightmare.
