Parking directly in front of the store can be tight, but there's generally a spot within quick walking distance. It is your classic Claire's - very bright and colorful, lots of cute earrings and accessories, and sales tucked all around the store. It was a little crowded but the displays and floor were very clean. I personally don't care for the upselling at the register - I appreciate earrings are buy 3 get 3 free, but I only want one pair and why would I spend an extra $16+ just to get three free earrings I don't want to begin with? Oh cashiers of Claire's, please just accept the first no and don't try to explain it to me when I understand the math.

There's tumblers, of all sizes, colors and brands, including the very popular Stanley cup. There's gifts for men, like camping stuff and socks. Of course the men's section is much smaller in comparison to everything else. There's jewelry here, like Kendra Scott. They have all kinds of decor for your home. With the fall season in mind, there's all sorts of decorative pumpkins for fall. Most of the items are pretty expensive, if you could find the same item at Marshall's I'd get it there instead. Most items are sold at manufacturer's price. They have a very small section of sale items. It's also good to look here during Christmas for a special ornament. The Paper Store may be a good place to find a special gift that may be difficult to find elsewhere.

Beautiful salad bowls, soft scarves, and now colorful face masks (complete with nose wires and non-woven filter inserts) have found homes with my friends and family. This season, for a cute gift, I'd recommend a fiber art clutch purse, a face mask, and a small bottle of hand sanitizer (green tea scent) - it was a huge hit for my mom! Carol has a lot of in-depth knowledge both about the products themselves and the artisans who create them. Many products are made locally, and ones from further afield are carefully curated. Carol has been especially accommodating during the pandemic. She has lots of info and photos on her website (including options for online shopping and shipping), can arrange video calls for questions, and she is happy to arrange curbside pick-ups from her store.
