Crappy burger inside Supposed to be lettuce tomato onion cheese ketchup

Their Pizza and cheesy beef are ok but don't get their burgers. They have the worst burgers I have ever tasted. Pure Salt meat, wilted lettuce, soggy bun, not much cheese. Spent $45 on the family and most of the food was thrown out. I have been here several times throughout the years and not sure why I return. The food seems to be getting worse in quality. I won't ever be returning to this restaurant. The help is never friendly either.

Good thin crust pizza and chicken Caesar salad. If you're from the Chicago area the pizza holds up.

Our newest little go to restaurant. Food is great, can't speak to the service since we always order to go but they're always friendly.

Best pizza in the area by far! Then don't deliver south of 80, but it's well worth the trip!

Delicious hand made pizza from scratch. Been going here for years. My favorite is the monster pizza. The secret is in the sauce!

Decent pizza. Definitely overpriced. A caseys pizza would have tasted just as good to be honest.

We had heard they were busy, many times with wait times. So we were surprised. The ambiance is really nice, A really nice Italian dinner restaurant. I started with an Old Fashioned and it was one of the better ones I have had. They really nailed it. There are a couple on their menu so I was sure to say "not the one with soda/selter". That a Wisconsin one :) We asked if the Caesar was large enough to split to start. They said yes. Great. There were 3 tables filled so it was finally not empty. Not sure why the bar seating was empty- looked like a great place to sit too. After ten minutes we gave our order, Chicken Piccata for my wife and I had the Pork Chop special. The waiter didn't come by and we didn't get our salad. He was busy making drinks for one larger party (the 4th table). Finally our entree's came. I asked what happened to our salad. He looked confused. I reminded him we asked if it was large enough to split and we would start with it. He was genuinely sorry. It happens. Then we ate the entree's. My wife's Chicken was flavorful and served hot. It was very good. My pork chop was closer to room temp rather than hot. The flavor was really good. Unfortunately I have a thing about eating my food hot, not on the cold side. I told the waiter. He was sorry and asked if he could have them heat it up. I passed .... Didn't want dryer food while my wife ate alone. The manager came over and insisted it didn't sit at the window. Not sure WHY he wanted to argue this point. I offered the plate so he could taste or even feel the dish at that point. He seemed genuinely wanting to help, but he didn't need to make us feel like we were wrong. Again - not the end of the world. So why 3 stars? My wife's food was great. The taste of mine was good. They didn't charge us for my dinner. Their Old Fashioned was out of this world (ask Omar to make it). The truth is we want to try it again and see if this was a glitch. If it wasn't a glitch, it's why they weren't packed on a Friday night.

We decided to drop in since it had just opened, and we wanted to see what they had to offer. If you look at the name "pizzeria napoletana" you may get the idea that this isn't Pizza Hut. It isn't. This is (according to my wife who has been to Naples in Italy) pizza the Napoletanese way. Thin crusts, interesting toppings, and different than mainstream American pizza. When we arrived we were promptly greeted at the door as we walked in, and given a choice of bar or dining room seating. We selected the dining room. Both areas were warm and comfortable, with the usual things in the bar (big screen TV) and dining room (art on the walls, nice tables and chairs, nice booths). We started with the Bagna Cauda, which was delicious. It seemed to be a little light on the garlic compared to my friend's version of the dish, but it was still good. It was served with bread, fennel, pepper and zucchini for dipping. It could have fed 4. For pizzas, my wife ordered their Margherita Verace, and I ordered their Puttanesca pizza. The Puttanesca had green olives, brown olives and white anchovies. The crust was very thin - so thin that I ended up cutting this with my knife and using my fork. I couldn't even fold it - the crust is very soft. I tried my wife's Margherita Verace, and it was similar in crust. It had lots of good stuff on it, and tasted good. Drinks were reasonably sized. I had a glass of wine which was fresh, and my wife after trying to order (and pronounce) Raganrok found that they were out of the sweet mead, so she went with a Negroni instead, which she said was quite good. The bathrooms were clean, but chilly in temperature. I hit the hot air hand dryer as I walked out in an effort to warm up the space. Clean, all fixtures worked, and well kept. The question boils down to this: Are you willing to experience pizza the way it was originally made - or not. If you are willing, you should try this place out. If you aren't willing - well, that's on YOU to change. You're missing a lot.

I literally tossed a coin on coming here. When calling the restaurant the young gal who answered the phone - you could tell she really loved her job. She enjoyed explaining what dishes were the best. I ordered a medium pizza with sausage, onion and mushrooms, as well as the beer nuggets (because so many people raved about them). I've worked in a dozen or so pizza joints and have eaten a lot of pizzas in my time. But Alfano's pizza offered something uniquely different that after the first bite I realized this was a great choice of a restaurant. The sauce. The sauce. The sauce. I had never tasted anything in the world of pizza that left me so speechless. It was light and had a sweetness to it. The crust was rich in texture, buttery taste to it and simply great. The ingredients were fresh. You get alot of pizza for your dough, no pun intended! The garlic nuggets were a great addition and a must have when I return.
