I've been in and also ordered for delivery via Deliveroo.
The first time I went in I was with a friend and we wandered around Grand Central trying to find somewhere chilled, with comfy seats that we also fancied eating in. That seemed to be quite a tricky mission to achieve. It's all about the quick churn, which I suppose is understandable given it all sits on top of the huge New Street Station.
Anyway, this place beckoned and the staff were friendly so why not? I can't remember what my pal had, but I had the pizza, aka Prosciutto di Parma e Ruccola! I have to say it was pretty good. Seemed fresh, nice base, decent quality mozzarella and ham. Worked well as a combo. All in I'd recommend for a quick stopover.
On to the delivery ... I actually ordered the same pizza, but this time added in a house salad and a classic Tiramisu. Everything arrived within the alloted time, despite the driver somehow getting lost with his GPS! After hunting him down up the road I could retire to scoff. The pizza was good, although a tad on the salty side, and pretty big with a big portion of Rocket atop, the Tirramasu awesome for the money (£2.20) and the salad very nice and fresh. There was enough for two and at £19.90 including the £2.50 Deliveroo fee it has to be considered a very decent value. Of course, as is so often with Deliveroo deliveries to me, the pizza was close to cold. read more
