This company is a hidden gem in the Boston area for anyone who needs to have their fingerprints…read moredone on hard cards. I previously had negative experiences with hard card fingerprinting at IdentoGo and another local firm before the pandemic began. After the pandemic started, I needed more cards completed between 2020 and 2021, but did not want to go back to the two companies I already had negative encounters with, and also place myself at risk of COVID infection at an indoor, crowded facility with long waits. During the course of the pandemic my local police precinct was not doing fingerprinting, so I did not have many options. I eventually found out about American Notary after a lot of searching, and have found them to be an outstanding customer service oriented and professional company to work with. It was much more time-efficient to have a mobile fingerprinting service come to my place of work, rather than to have to take time off. Scheduling was easy, and I had an appointment within a few days of calling. When needing more prints done again in 2021, I was also assured that the fingerprinter who would come was fully vaccinated. Girard did a total of 3 sets of cards between 2020 and 2021, and I can confirm that all of them were successfully accepted for the criminal background check. He was always on time, easy and friendly to work with, and was masked appropriately, which made me feel safe. I was also able to get a same day appointment one time in order for my wife and I to have same documents notarized. Would highly recommend them to anyone needing mobile fingerprinting and notarization in the Boston area!

I worked with one of their lawyers who did an outstanding job. Liss Law walked me through the entire process and ensured I completed all my required seminars to comply with Bankruptcy rules and guidelines. They filed all the paperwork for me which was very helpful because the process itself looks very overwhelming. During the bankruptcy proceedings I had a debtor who challenged the bankruptcy proceedings that their debt was non-dis-chargeable under bankruptcy law. It took over 2 years of back and forth with the debtors lawyer but in the end they caved and their entire settlement was discharged. Liss Law goes above and beyond to help you throughout the bankruptcy process and their dedication to knowing the laws, as they change, and their determination to get you out of debt is stellar and nothing less than what you would expect from a reputable law firm. Thank you Liss Law and my lawyer for all your help. I can now start fresh.

Not only did they handle everything for the closing on my condo, power of attorney, they caught a HUGE tax mistake / issues that entitled me to thousands of dollars. Without their help and research, I would have lost this money. The office is in a very convenient location, Beacon Street in Brookline. Right off the green line or street/metered parking. SKM will handle all my Real Estate transactions from here on out. THANK YOU SO MUCH ALAN SHARAF AND JANET BLAKE!!!!

If the Grinch were a title company, that company would be SKM. This Christmas, my wife and I had…read morethe misfortune of dealing with them. Though it was painful and frustrating beyond words, here's a few: SKM apparently operates on a rotating shuffle of numerous distant teleworking employees, several of which apparently decided not to come to work, even remotely, on the contractual day of closing, Dec 23th. Having had made a good number of mistakes themselves along the way (like the property address), they had no problem making me jump through every conceivable hoop, to accommodate them and their last minute delay. With every paper and every notarization they demanded in hand, I obligingly reported to their 'office' to close the deal, where I was brusquely met with an entirely new person who didn't take the trouble to introduce himself. Within a few minutes of sitting in a bare room, I had a phone thrust in front of me on speaker, with a highhanded voice talking at me, again without introduction. The voice, sounded like he was at a call center hundreds of miles (maybe south) of here. Within minutes, it was obvious that this man had no idea of the first thing about this deal (like the sale price) and clearly hadn't read the purchase and sales agreement. But that didn't stop him from running roughshod over the contract and imposing his own set of rules on the closing. Worse still, he attempted to justify his bullying with insults and defamatory innuendo . Based on the behavior of Jordan, the only person physically present, the man on the phone apparently instructed him not to conclude the transaction, as laid out in the contract, at that time. Because the strange voice killed the deal within minutes from afar, my wife had to take two extra days off work, travel across New England, I had to extend the hotel stay three nights to make ourselves available to get this closed, in whatever way possible. In response to Maloney's denial of the closing Dec 24th, we also brought in an additional attorney to the transaction at the last minute. The tax prorations had to be redone and the utilities, insurance had to be extended,, increasing the cost of the deal and diminishing the seller's net proceeds. In the meantime, the buyers, who are good people, could not move in, as they had expected. I suspect the movers they had lined up had to be somehow rescheduled. Jessica Cunha, the attorney who was most involved, herself devoted a good bit of mindshare to this deal, and seemed to genuinely care about getting it closed. She alone is the reason the review had been doubled from one to two stars. However, she worked remotely and against the backdrop of a company whose top brass, based on our experience, has little respect for consumers, and less for contracts. The result was that the overall experience was a dread. This year, the Grinch truly did steal Christmas ;~(

Fast forward after the hearing and I'm in the process of doing paperwork for the RMV, I have a serious question about sections pertaining to dealership information and insurance information. I'll let you all read the correspondence I had with Brian. ME: "Hey Brian, all set with the permit. Im going to schedule a road test today. What's the process for getting that done? I was told I need to register the car." Brian: "Yes - the vehicle that you use for the road test must be registered and insured." Attorney Brian Simoneau ME: "Okay, I'm working on the reg and title application and understand I cant drive a car in this state without registration. How do I fill out this form?" Brian: "What form?" Attorney Brian Simoneau ME: "Registration and title application. " Brian: "You answer the questions on the form." Attorney Brian Simoneau A lawyer I paid $1500 dollars to assist me in obtaining my license back answered my question with "YOU ANSWER THE QUESTIONS ON THE FORM." Brian, I don't know if you're overwhelmed at the office or if you're just ready for retirement, but to respond to a person like that is utterly unprofessional and down right rude. If you're overwhelmed with work, maybe take on less clients. At this point and after the whole ordeal of, like others have said, one word answers and me doing most of the leg work I terminated his services. I paid him $1500 dollars to schedule me a hearing and call me on the day of. Mind you the hearing lasted two whole minutes. After his last email to me I would not recommend his service. Side note, I had half a dozen hearings with the RMV on my own and the ONLY reason I hired a lawyer was because I was tired of the run around with the RMV. If you go to an RMV hearing without a lawyer, if you have ONE T not crossed, they deny you. You show up with a lawyer they approve you in two minutes. *UPDATE* I just got off the phone with my insurance agent. She told me "Do not fill in anything on that form unless you are in front of the RMV official. If you do they will not take it." So I guess "You answer the questions on the form." was the WRONG answer. *update* I decided to reduce to one star. That treatment just doesn't sit right with me.
