Thumbs up--all the way. Nice people. Framing places are expensive--let's face it. But I have done…read moremaybe 3 frames here and it's aways quite satisfactory. Again I can't say these folks are more expensive than the competition, but I don't know that they are less, either. But I think of it like car shopping--if you get past the awesome price of new cars, then the questions about where you want to buy them and what you want to buy transcend the price. Point being, if someone gave me a $100 coupon for a frame store, I would probably choose this one.

We have gone to Lake Lure for a family vacation 2 years in a row and have now come to this…read morewonderful store both times. There are 2 "motorcycle" shops close together in Chimney rock and this one is by far the best. Both years we walked into the Harley store and were ignored both times while the employees talked about their plans and chit chatted and we walked out both times buying nothing. The ONLY reason we went in the second time was because Heavenly Hoggs was closed that day. Walking into Heavenly Hoggs was like night and day. It's not a chain it's owned by a husband and wife and both times she was there working the counter. She greeted us immediately and was so helpful even suggesting something that would work better for us but was a lot less money. The coat we wanted was not in the size we needed so we ordered it from her and she will ship it to us in Ohio when it comes in. We left buying a motorcycle jacket, chaps, a shirt and hoodie. This place is wonderful and I recommend them over the other store 10000%. Go here you wont be sorry trust me. We will be going back every year that we go back to Lake Lure. Cute boutique store with a variety of items. Mostly garden & outdoor entertaining stuff:…read morewindchimes, decorative planters and tables, bird baths, garden stones, melamine dishes, etc. but all fun & unique stuff; not Home Depot style. They also have some home decor such as pillows, artwork, cloth dish towels, and throws; most of these items have inspirational sayings like "live in the moment", "peace love happiness", etc. And they also have jewelry and other accessories like shawls, hats, scarves, etc. Their prices are fair-moderate and they run various sales throughout the year. It's a great store to pick up a cute little gift for someone or just a fun accessory for your home. I deducted 1 star because they have the most unfriendly staff I've ever encountered. I've been in this store multiple times and they have NEVER once greeted me upon entering, don't ask if I need assistance, and they always look bored and distracted sitting at the checkout counter usually looking at their cell phones. Even when I've made purchases, they hardly look up at me; just ring me up and sit back down. It's kind of a bummer because it's such a bright and cheery store and the staff is a total downer.
