They are unreliable and don't come when they say they will. Very disappointing performance.

AdaptHealth - Adapt's machine. Should have taken a video because it sounded like a train running through our house.

I wish I could give AdaptHealth / MedBridge Home Medical NEGATIVE STARS…read more This place is a scam. Plain and simple. They said I could rent a CPAP for 10 months as that is what my insurance covered. Okay... cool. Then they said they needed a card on file for my appointment but assured me that I would NOT be billed for anything. That my card would only be charged in case I went over the 10 months and chose to continue using the cpap. Ok, fine. So I have some time to try it out and choose if I want to really buy one... right? WRONG!!! They just billed me $2.06 on Sunday, and on Friday, they then billed me $157.22 for god knows what. Truly, I have no clue why. I tried to speak to the billing department and got the run around. Now I am being told that I am RENTING TO OWN and will be billed monthly NOBODY EVER SAID THAT IN FACT, they said THE OPPOSITE! That I would not have to pay a dime! SHADY BUSINESS PRACTICE They are a total bloody scam and the billing department will confuse you, interrupt you. and say things that aren't true. It all seemed perfect at first, then they sneak charges onto your debit or credit card!!!! I kid you not. It's UNREAL I'm so angry. How dare you.

The only nice things about this company were Steve, the guy who delivered the ancient, loud…read moreoxygenator to our house, and Lance, the guy who picked it up. Rutherford Hospital erroneously told us that our local company would not accept my husband's insurance and told us we could get his oxygen delivered from Hendersonville or Asheville. Hville is closer, so they delivered two tanks from the hospital to take home when he was released. The following day, they brought the machine to our house. I work from home. There is no way I could get any work done with it running. I am on a lot of ZOOM calls during the day, and if I used noise-canceling headphones, I wouldn't hear my husband if he needed me. I swear this thing looks like it's leftover from 1950. An attachment on top of it was because we were expected to refill our own portable tanks. It took 4 hours to refill a small tank. I called the company the next day. The rep I spoke to said she would have to escalate my complaint. No one ever returned my call. I called and spoke with the home health liaison at the hospital who had set us up with them, and she gave me the cell phone number of the person she deals with directly. I called and left a voicemail. I called her again the next day and got her. She listened to me and said she would have someone at the company call me. No one ever did. I finally called our local supplier, because at that point I was ready to pay cash for a quiet machine and forget about insurance. They informed me that they do, in fact, accept our Humana PPO, but that we had to have a new prescription for oxygen since the one from the hospital was only good for 72 hours and proof that Adapt had picked up their equipment. We visited his family doctor; she wrote the prescription. I borrowed a couple of tanks from my mother, who is also on oxygen, and called Adapt to pick up their crap. The guy told me they would pick it up "when someone is in the area." I told them due to the number of doctors. Appointments my husband had, they needed to call before coming to make sure we were there. Did they call? NO. Did they come while we were gone? YES. I called them back, and they ended up sending someone that afternoon. This is the most non-communicative company I have ever dealt with. Their equipment is old, and their customer service is crap. The picture below shows what they brought here. The one from our local company (Smith Drug in Forest City, NC) is small and SILENT! And we are not expected to fill our own tanks. Laura Allen Clayton
