I have followed Lessi for years and she takes your imagination of your dream hair and makes it come true! Love framework salon relaxing and stylish environment. Hiii! I have never been a recurring customer to any hair salon, ever. I've always had trust issues when it comes to hair dressers/stylists, due to them doing very unsatisfactory jobs. Mark, has seriously changed that for me! He is very knowledgeable about all of the products and answered all of my questions and concerns. He did a phenomenal job with my hair the other day. He did a cut and style on me and I do have to say that I have NEVER been happier with my hair. I'm going back to him this upcoming week for a color session with him! I'm super excited to say that I will most definitely be coming back to him for future cuts. I'll post an update once I get colored too! read more

Love love love this location! Super friendly and helpful. I love the beautiful art creations the team does, especially my stylist Yvette who creates a color just for me. read more

This review is for Marci. She has done everything from highlights, lowlights, Brazilian Blowout, balayage, Trisola, color and cut. She is extremely knowledgeable and friendly. She listens to you and gives you her advise based on how the color and cut will match your skin tone and shape of your face. She is amazing and the salon has a very trendy, welcoming vibe. The rest of the staff is very friendly. Marci always goes above and beyond to pamper you and make your time there enjoyable and relaxing. This review is for Stephanie. I came in with a Groupon for a haircut and partial hairlights, she was really nice and offered me tea and coffee! I wanted a change because I've had the same hairstyle for so many years. I originally had hair where the length went down to my belly button and I wanted to chop it off up to about armpit length. I also wanted to try bangs and get highlights. One thing she did a great job on were the highlights, I'm really happy with it! Although I wish she wouldn't have wasted foils to highlight the hair that was going to be cut off to form my bangs. The biggest problem I have is with my haircut. When I left the salon, I was pretty content with the haircut due to the way she had styled it. (She used a straightener). But after going home and washing my hair, and having this haircut for over 2 weeks, I realized it doesn't suit my face shape at all. The bangs she cut for me don't really blend with the rest of my haircut, my bangs are really really short and the rest of my hair is quite long. There aren't any strands of hair to gradually get longer to frame my face so it looks awkward. I have thick straight asian hair but after she cut it, the ends of my hair aren't straight and started flipping and curving in different directions but mostly inward and it really doesn't suit my face shape at all. Also, when I part my hair to its natural part, there's a long strand of hair that is out of place and longer than the rest of my hair. I used to wake up in the morning with straight hair ready to go after brushing it, but now when I wake up my hair is all over the place and curves in different directions at the end. The layers are cut differently than what I'm used to. I asked for long layers, but I think she layered my hair oddly, because the ends of my hair went from looking like choppy textured pieces to now looking like a broom. I really wanted to like this haircut, esp since she was so nice, but I really don't :( read more

All I have to say is TRUST IN MARCI. I went from all natural super dark black hair to the most amazing balayage ever. I was super nervous at first cause I see a lot of bad color jobs walking around and I know how easy it is to end up with a weird brassy color, but Marci loves what she does and takes a lot of pride in her work and my hair turned out perfect! read more

I come here and see Leesi, she is amazing! She does my color and highlights perfect every time. My hair never feels damaged always soft and silky. If you aren't seeing her you're missing out! read more

This is my go to salon in Sacramento and Jamie is my go to stylist. I have tried many different hair salons in the area and this is the one I keep coming back to. Jamie has been helping me grow out my hair for my wedding and has been giving me tips and tricks on growing it out. I will be continuing to go here and have Jamie booked for my wedding hair trial this month and I could not be more excited. read more

I have enjoyed my time spent with Jamie at this salon. I like that they always try to fit you in for last minute appointments and are located in a central/ hip area of Sacramento. Jamie has done my hair twice (color & cut) and she has left me with lovely results on both occasions. I also like how she explains what she is putting in your hair and why, which is very useful for someone who doesn't have a great knowledge of hair products/ the needs of one's hair. Overall, I've had great experiences with my hair stylist, Jamie, and I would definitely recommend her! FYI they are closed on Mondays :) read more

This was my first time coming here and I want to say Marci was amazing! From the very beginning she knew exactly what I wanted and made me feel comfortable! I wanted to go lighter from dark brown and she did my color perfect! She asked lots of questions which was great because it helped with the look I was going for! She took her time and was patient with my hair! Overall, just a great experience and happy to know I found a great spot to come back to now! read more

I love love love Framework salon. I love the Mid Town location. And I love my Hair stylist. Something, as a a lady with curly hair, I couldn't say about most hair stylist I have had I the past. Stephanie is, however, is 100% worth the drive. I am from Vacaville but drive into Mid Town Sacramento because of Stephanie and the Framework vibe. Stephanie does amazing with my hair which is curly on the unruly side. She does whatever I want and even better than I expect. If you have curly hair (or not), Stephanie will make your experience there a fun one. Aside from being meticulous at her job, she is personable. You will get to know and love her as she will truly care about you. She will recommend products to help you solve your hair issues. She will ask questions to determine what your really want as an end product and then will deliver that end product better than you imagine. Framework has a gem in Stephanie and Stephanie has a gem in Framework. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! read more

This Is Review Number (MAESTRO or MAESTRA a few notes on the piano if you please) SIXTY FIVE for this place! Was a Saturday! Walking down street call J, hey Sheraton is on J, want see what around! There some food event with entertainers! I was looking at some comedy place as say that night performance will benefit Children Shelter and only $15.00! Dark inside, I see a lady ask about it! She looked, says the tickets had be done online! Wait I a hotel guest, I really ahead time supposed know be done online, plus I not know how do that anyways! Ask her pointing a direction how get back to hotel, just direction I pointing, she already knows it has be Sheraton! Well she asks, "Are you busy? Do you have time?" Tell her yes! She offers me complimentary something call Wash And Blow Dry! At time to me she could be just any person neighboring company! That comedy club could not even get in, that when she tried the door and looked up information! She says her name, Nicole (hope I spelling it right), she say she the owner of this haircutting place! Okay, so she gives me a short tour of the salon! It has all kind Paul Mitchell products! She explains what is done in each section of the salon! There five chairs in the middle, some more maybe seven chairs by mirrors where customers can sit! The stylists not all assigned to one specific chair, they change as needed! One puts a brown robe, has the company name on it, over their clothes! Keeps the clothes from getting too wet! After the tour she takes me to one section! Massage of the shoulders, the wash! After, one the seven chairs by mirrors where the hair is dried and if necessary styled! Of course I always keeping my hair short, so really not needed be styled! Wow, that really nice of this lady named Nicole do all that! She does give to me business card, I like know places I been! Thank so much to Nicole! Good luck with the salon! read more

I just got a quick trim by Jamie and let me just say how impressed I am!! I used to have such a hard time trusting anyone with my hair but Jamie is my new go-to girl! up until now I have found it damn near impossible to find a hair stylist who will listen to exactly what I want and only take off the amount that I ask but Jamie listened to what I wanted and did it perfectly. Additionally, this place is the cutest! The ascetics and vibes of this place were so welcoming. read more

This is my favorite salon in Sacramento! Everyone was wonderfully friendly, I felt right at home as soon as I stepped in the door. I scheduled an appointment with Leesii, who I've had my hair done by at her previous salon, and she is amazing! She went above and beyond to accommodate me, even making a special trip to the beauty supply store to get supplies for the crazy hair that I requested. She took her time, explained what she was doing, and made sure that everything was perfect and I really appreciate that about her. It is so refreshing to see someone who is so passionate about their craft. Also, you can't beat the location. There are so many boutiques, unique restaurants, and the best night life that the city has to offer. I highly recommend Leesii and Framework Salon to anyone looking to spice up their look, you will thank me later! read more

I found this salon here on Yelp and the good reviews stood out to me, but I decided to go with a girl at a different salon because I was referred to her by her sister. And after her canceling my appointment with her not once but twice I decided to call this salon and they were able to get me in the same day! Georgia did a cut and full highlight on my hair and I love it! It's exactly how I pictured my hair being! I highly recommend this salon! Very friendly! read more

I had an amazing experience at Framework Salon today! Marci gave me a great cut and helped me choose a new color for my highlights. She listened to what I was saying, asked clarifying questions, and made suggestions based on her expertise and my hair type. The atmosphere is great and very trendy. I loved the adjustable sinks during my wash, and the room they're in is tucked away and quiet. It was a lovely retreat. I will certainly be back and highly recommend it! read more

Although all the staff at Framework is very friendly, talented, and knowledgeable, I highly recommend Marci and Cierra. They both pay the utmost attention to every detail when doing my hair and make up. They also offer refreshments and basically cater to me which makes for a very relaxing service. When I have either of them I come out feeling and looking fabulous! Thank you, Marci & Cierra! read more

Marci did an amazing job on my Balayage Makeover! My hair was super dark when I first came in! She let me know off the bat that it takes time to transform to a smokey blond ombré shade. Sometime life's best pleasures are the simplest: A refreshing night of sleep. A comfortable shave. A great haircut from a stylist that listens. I can't help you with the first two, but I can suggest you seek out Tali at Framework Salon on 20th Street. I have a full head of unruly, difficult to manage hair. Tali listened to my desires, studied my hair and made some suggestions. After discussion, she proceeded with calmness and confidence. Another simple pleasure: someone else washing your hair. The cut was professional and studied. She paused for my feedback, maintaining eye contact and giving me her complete attention. I love the final product and have gotten more than a few compliments. The price? Marginally higher than the corner. The quality? Light years ahead. One of life's simple pleasures. read more

That's right Nikki Marci destroyed my hair back on December and since then i have been doing all kinds of treatments. almost 3 Months later and my hair is still really bad. i just went to this salon in elk grove to see if its safe for me to have my roots done because of my grey hair and i told her what MARCI did to my hair and she couldn't believe how much damage i still have and she agreed with me its gonna take couple of YEARS for my hair to re grow & recover ...and u said that MARCI did her best ? then she needs to go back to school... and i have a question for you.... if someone put bleach on your hair and let it sit for 6 hrs or more and your walk out of the salon with HORRIBLE damage and ALMOST no hair left whatsoever. What would you do ? and YES. you right my last visit didn't PAN OUT but instead of you THE OWNER) stand up for your employee and do something to avoid all of this you just didn't care okay so that's why i'm here letting people know that when they go and put their trust on MARCI OR FRAMEWORK SALON they're taking A BIG RISK OF PAN OUT VISIT because what she did to me she can do it to anyone ....and by the way i'm doing a report to the board of barbering and cosmetology.i called them they said they don't care when it happened i still can do it... i have record pics text and testimonies from friends who saw me right after and I still have all the damage on my hair .....SMALL CLAIM COURT why Not read more

Antwanette is the best! I've been getting compliments all day. Was so worth the money and time. Thank you sooo much!

I honestly can say I love love love how my hair came out. I had an appointment with Georgia today and she was AMAZING :) I was scared to have someone that I didn't know work on my hair and put all my trust in her. Not only did she listen to what I wanted done (even though I really didn't know) but she asked so many question just to narrow down to what would be best for me. I just moved here from New York and wasn't sure where to go to get my hair done, but I'm glad I picked this salon. I will definitely be back for my second session and more in the future :) read more

My stylist no longer works at Framework, but I needed to have my hair colored and cut. I tried another stylist and sadly I'm so unhappy with my hair that I'm writing this review. From the moment I came in to the very end the experience wasn't great. First, my hair I wanted to my roots done, toner and a hair cut. The result weeks later my roots are darker than before, the toner is brassy. The hair cut just sucks. I have so many split ends still that I can't comb my hair and my hair is straight, there's no shape now because I believe she just cut off some length. It's been driving me crazy that I spent all that money on something I can't stand. Maybe it was just that stylist but her overall technique is really outdated. read more

Marci McTaggart is the best! She was referred to me by a friend for my wedding hair. When I contacted her she replied immediately to my message. She was incredibly professional and accommodating to my limited availability, since I live in the Bay Area. At our first meeting she was super friendly and thoroughly listened to my explanation of the look I was interested in and on the actual wedding day she not only made my hair look AMAZING she went above and beyond by offering to help carry my stuff down to the hotel lobby! Marci is just the sweetest and is extremely talented and knowledgeable! read more

Marci did a great job on my hair. I'd let my hair grow out then decided to get highlights again but didn't want to have a high maintenance hair color. She nailed exactly the color I'd imagined. Also was a great conversationalist. At the end I felt really pampered, it was the end of the day and I had two stylists working on my hair at the same time (I was the last customer of the day but they didn't make me feel rushed at all.) Also I learned some things about hair care. I also liked that Marci discussed the price and went over what I wanted done (explained my options, highlights vs hand painting). Parking isn't great, but i just ubered here. Recommend. read more
