Shrey was the project manager and Marcus was the lead engineer. They worked closely with our architect to complete the initial structural engineering and were very responsive throughout the entire process. After we submitted the plans to the city, there were several questions and comments from the city, and the team responded quickly and worked with our architect to address them. Whenever additional discussion was needed, Shrey and Marcus were readily available for video calls with us and our architect to review the issues and resolve any outstanding items. Their communication and follow-up were excellent. Their pricing was also very reasonable, and overall we were very pleased with the quality of their work, responsiveness, and professionalism. After multiple back and forth and with SF Bay Engineering admitting they aren't familiar with the requirements, they terminated the contract. I recommend future clients clarify in writing how architectural costs will be handled if SF Bay Engineering terminates the contract. Happy to provide additional details upon request

He took the time to explain what I was seeing, referred me to a geotechnical engineer who could actually solve the problem, and issued me a full refund. I highly recommend Prostruct Engineering to anyone looking for an honest assessment--they clearly prioritize the customer's needs over their own bottom line.

They replaced, repaired and painted three floors of wood walls and ceilings; resealed my balcony and refreshed its railing; repaired my screen door; and completed other tasks that required coordination with a variety of experts, like updating some roof sections and adding new gutters and skylights. A few points about the overall experience: - Mel and his team stuck with the job even as the amount of work stretched far beyond initial estimates. He committed to my 100% satisfaction and did not stop until everything subpar was brought up to his high standards. This house has never been so well sealed. - Mel communicated more quickly and completely than any construction professional I've ever worked with. Starting from the review of the initial contract and through the removal of the portapotty at the end of the job, I always knew exactly what was happening and why. - I am not a professional contractor but my bestie's husband is. I had him review the work and he had no notes. - Access to my rear facade is awkward. His crew made the extra effort to traverse the hard to navigate easement behind my property. What a slog every day for months. Mel and his team are the epitome of conscientiousness and are truly nice people.
