I walked in and explained to the woman at the counter that I hadn't done this since likely before she was born. She took my email and told me I would get a message when the film was done and that my scans would be sent via a link. They offered me my negatives, but the first roll was only a test and I said scans alone were fine. I was not expecting my pictures within an hour, but that was the turnaround. The scans were magnificent. I bought a new roll of film while I was there, and the selection is much better than Walmart's and the price was fair. I'm floored with my first experience at this lab. Not only will I be shooting more now that I know I have a lab in the area, but this is where I'm taking all my business.

The woman behind the desk said that's what I had asked for. But that wasn't what I asked for. So then I had to spend more money to get those negatives developed into pictures. I think some avid photographers just want negatives for some reason, but I can't imagine most people don't want prints. I didn't even know you could only get negatives from a roll of film. She, as the professional, made an error in judgment by not assuming when I asked for my photos to be developed - like I always had in the past as a repeat customer - that I wanted prints. She wasn't remotely apologetic. I won't go back.
