    Damaged furniture boxes delivered

    I ordered a couch thru Albany Park furniture. Fragile pack picked up my sectional on 12/17/2021 in Houston Texas. They then took the sectional to there warehouse in Houston Texas where it sat there 10 days. Shipped to Indianapolis, Indiana, where it sat ANOTHER 10 days. From there it was sent to Carol stream, Il where it sat ANOTHER 10 Days then delivered to me on 1/17/2021. Boxes where damaged and so was furniture. Not packed properly by ALBANY PARK Furniture. I had to call this company 3 times to find out where my furniture was. This should have been picked up in Houston left there and went straight to IL. I don't know why my EXPENSIVE sectional went to THREE warehouse and thrown all over the place. Then they deliver it damaged and said I need to go back to ALBANY PARK

    The absolute worst experience ever. They are the shadiest company I have ever dealt with. AAFEs which is the military store uses them and they shouldn't. They send auto gen emails to tell you that you can finally set the delivery date only it doesn't work. They will email you before you even scheduled that it was unavailable then you wait 3 or 4 days. It will do this no matter what. Reason I know...their customer service told me that it does this and asked if i would like out of that since it wasn't actually scheduling anything. I have gone round and round with aafes, and this company. They will tell aafes they try to contact you to schedule yet they send you emails saying sorry, wait another 72 hours they can't schedule. So this went on for over two weeks. Item sat 3 hours away from me for two weeks. I sent aafes emails and copies of all the conversations and screenshots of everything. So finally fragilepak sends me a (you guessed it) another link to schedule delivery. NOPE, can't. Doesn't work. They say that my situation is special and they need to contact me for special delivery options. No time frame nadda. Just hey, we got to contact you. Stay away from these folks, run if you see them being used to deliver your items. AS of today, still no air conditioning unit I orded on May25th. It's been sitting 3 hours away from me since June 1st. I live in a rural area and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out they don't want to just drive 1 lil ole ac unit to one person. They trying to get bunch of stuff in this area to make it worth their while. Again, they are shady at best. GL if you have to deal with them.

    Terrible customer service. I reached out multiple time via email regarding my package and had no response. 10/10 would not recommend.

I made multiple trips to send packages and probably paid upwards of $125 to send packages. One of the people I was working with seemed not to know or care about what they were doing. I had asked to have some styro-foam filler or packing added to a box to fill in so things would not move around. Not to have someone pack the box for me. Every time I sent packages through this store, this was not a big deal. Another person, when I asked to get some packing to fill the box I had prepared, seemed very nasty. She kept telling the person at the register "make sure he is charged", "make sure he gets charged". She must have said this two or three times. I did not see her do this to anyone else that was having packages sent. All I was asking is to fill the box with styro-foam filler, so things did not move around in the box, not for the service of packing, and I was charged an extra $14 for the packing. If there was a small charge, fine. But, definitely should not have cost $14. A $1 or $2 charge for some styro-foam packing is not the same as a $14 packing service which I didn't ask for. The next day I came back to send a package and worked with someone different, and things were more along the line of what I had experienced before. They said they would add some styro-foam or other packing to the box. The next time I came back to send my final package, I had wrapped the breakable in it myself. I ended up, unfortunately, being waited on by the lady that had previously said "makes sure he gets charged" multiple times. I explained where I wanted it to send and she taped up the box as is with no styro-foam or other packing that had been offered in the past. She didn't even ask if I would like to have additional packing. I am not sure what this lady's problem with me was, but she just seemed to have a personal grudge against me, like she got away with something. Other CSR's I have worked with at this particular store have always been pleasant. I even saw a difference in attitude with other customers the days that I brought packages in. These experiences were so disappointing. I am really going to be unhappy if something in my package gets broke. It seems like customer service is just a think of the past. Maybe I should consider FedEx or DHS for a more pleasant experience.

    Insane business model to provide a customer with STAPLES return labels, tell a customer to expect a…read morepickup within 5 days, wait two weeks with no pickup, then I go to the store with the packages (with staples branded return labels) and they look at me like I'm insane for trying to drop it off. Refuse my drop off, send me with post it note with the wrong customer service phone number (had to be transferred and waited on hold) only to go leave with the packages back in my car. Wild that an empty store with employees standing around wouldnt have an interest in even trying to understand their own system to help out a frustrated customer and make them walk out with product that their own company is trying to retrieve.

My…read morehusband wanted to buy me an office chair for my birthday, which I happily agreed to if I could "test sit" on them. They had a solid variety in the store (and there's more online). I found a great option and on sale. While there I walked down several aisles and the little girl who got so excited to buy new school supplies came out! So many pens, post-it notes, planners, binders, organizers, planner stickers, etc. I don't need any of it but wanted it all!!! The store associate we worked with was helpful and friendly, bringing out the office chair from storage and even offering to take it to the car. He also helped my husband access his store rewards to apply to our purchase, and looked up the organizer I found without a tag. If you're looking for a modern and more grown up type of organizers and supplies, check out their Poppin line. Store gift cards and birthday cards are available. Staples offers a copy and printing center too. It was nice to shop for office supplies in person instead of an online catalog.
