Corn pups 5/5 and tots 5/5

Met a friend here midday Sunday. Street parking was easy out front. Walk up ordering was easy, although food was a bit of a wait when not very busy. That was fine for us while we had our beer. I'd imagine waiting a while when there's a crowd. The Mocha Blonde Stout on tap was excellent. We loved the corn pups, pretzel (huge!), and tots. They have a huge projector screen with nice sound for sports games. Would go again!

FR8yard is such a fun place! My husband and I spent almost 3 hours here for their Memorial Day party. They had Southside Smokehouse as a pop-up restaurant, and it was very yummy! The three sauces were flavorful - I especially liked the mustard sauce. My husband got a draft beer, and I got the Watermelon Man cocktail. I wish I could make this cocktail at home. It was SO good! Refreshing and light! It's always nice when you can't taste the alcohol too lol. The performing artist was also great - Clay Johnson! I loved all of his covers - very country folk. It was the best vibe! The service was quick, kind, and reliable too!

I had a great time playing cards and listening to live music while I was here! I loved that they had ping pong available outside to play. The staff was nice and friendly! The food and beer were great!

What a cool place! After a concert at the Spartanburg Memorial Auditorium, our group came here for drinks and a bite to eat. The shipping containers make up a bulk of the 'buildings" surround the pit area. There's a stage and there was a trio playing music. There's a large screen that was showing a hockey game. All interests were covered. It didn't hurt that it was a beautiful evening. I had a cocktail and my friends had beers. Prices were reasonable for the drinks and they had a big selection of beers and cocktails. They also had good food options. One friend got tater tots and their street meat (chicken on a stick) with BBQ sauce. Both of those looked good especially the chicken. I got a hot dog and it was really tasty too. Mine was the Hasselhoff but with a hot dog instead of the brat. It was delicious - kraut, spicy mustard, and beer cheese. YUM! My friend got their Reuben dawg and said it was good too. I'd definitely come back here for a beer and a bite!

Here is the chicken skewers, corndog bites, huge pretzel

This is fantastic place for food and fun. It's dog friendly and my dog met a new pal. I had a delicious pumpkin cider. Three of us split 4 items. Chicken skewers with large grilled chicken chunks and buffalo sauce, jalapeño flavored sauce and a bourbon maple sauce, all great. We then shared an order of corndog bites on a stick and the batter was something special maybe had some maple in there and some really good mustard to dip in. And then we got a huge pretzel with two sauces. And we tried some of the hummus, which was very good . wonderful staff multi use space and their prices are very reasonable.

    Busy Saturday!

Nice outdoor venue in downtown Spartanburg. Very casual. Picnic tables, gravel, and bring your dog casual. Open to the sun so it can get warm, but there are some umbrellas for shade. There's a stage for a band and a huge screen to watch the big game. Lines are long at peak times, and for us it took 50 mins to get a burger and sausage dog, but both were delish once they arrived. Great selection of beer, wine and liquor drinks. Friendly staff. Go and have some fun!

We stopped by on Sunday and the music was great!!! The guys on stage really sounded like a full band, every song they did was better then the last. We did not eat but they do have Hot dogs kabobs burgers and beer. Really nice area to just sit and hear some good music and have a drink or

Great place if the weather is nice to hang out, drink a beer, catch a game or two and still remain outdoors. Fr8 is a Casual atmosphere with bench seating, outdoor dining only. Dog friendly (and there were lots of dogs there) and family friendly. This sit where you can and want, is a great place to let your children play or enjoy a friendly competition with your crew. There was corn hole, board games and other outdoor games to play to keep anyone not interested in the games busy. They do have outdoor heaters for the cold weather and fans for the heat. A good selection of beer and a standard selection of brat entrees. Everything is sold separately, but reasonably priced. The Carolina dog was a take on the Carolina classic dog except the chili is made with brisket and the dog is a beef sausage. If you mind a sausage instead of a regular beef hot dog, this is a winner.

Environment is great, food is fair, at best. Maybe eat your meal somewhere else and end the night here for drinks and entertainment.

I wandered into Main Street Bar & Eatery for what was supposed to be a "quick bite between quotes." Instead, I became spiritually welded to a barstool while the TV blasted a man in flannel yeeting a chainsaw like it owed him money. And the fried pickles. Good grief. Those things ambushed me. One minute I'm thinking "I'll just have a snack," and the next I'm waist-deep in a basket of fried circles of temptation, crunching my way into oblivion while pretending to "work." My laptop was open, sure, but let's not lie to ourselves -- I got absolutely nothing done. I was too busy yelling advice at professional lumberjacks like I'd trained for this moment my whole life. The crowd there is very accepting and welcomes every newcomer with open arms! They encourage an atmosphere of healthy communication and friendship! You won't find trouble or fighting there like you might at a lot of other bars at night. Easy access to a pool table gives you casual entertainment, as well as the bar sporting an arcade style bowling game and three separate TVs for watching pretty much whatever you are in the mood for. A Touch Tunes jukebox on the wall means that you can play any song your heart desires while you grab a cold one from their wide selection of beer and small selection of wine. Every once in a while, they have a fish fry hosted by a local fisherman who cooks on site, and on holidays, they offer food as well. Occasionally, they have a food truck on site. Not to mention, they have a small selection of snacks and sodas stocked at the bar at all times. Wednesday night is APA pool league night, and they welcome players to join their team, The Twisted Ducks, whether you are new to the game or an old pro. Saturday nights are Game Night and karaoke, and you can expect some great singers in the house. They offer a selection of board and card games available for you and your friends to join in on, of which the most popular are Cards Against Humanity and Heads Up! If you haven't checked this place out before, you're missing out. It looks daunting from the outside, but once you're in, the mood is absolutely wonderful! Everyone is a friend there, just waiting to connect with you! You should go down there and see what kind of fun there is to be had down by the river. You won't be disappointed!

However, my plans changed when I saw the menu. Instead I tried a Wagyu burger. They have five different Wagyu burgers and I settle on the one closest to a cheeseburger. It had been a long time since I had one and I was way overdue. It was delicious. For my side I tried the collard greens. They offer five different sauces to spike the collards with, but I chose to eat them with the way they came out of the kitchen - a vinegar-based splash of heat. I could've eaten a bowl of them, they too were delicious. It was a bit after lunch so it wasn't very busy. The bartender was knowledgeable about the menu, sides, entrees, apps, and sauces which helped with making my decisions prompt. The front of house is setup to handle families and groups of friends with booths and 6-top tables, however the place may fill up fast. Based on the amount of missing merch, many folks try and like and appreciate this place. Parking could be tricky, but there's more public parking on the streets than most towns I've visited, so be patient looking for on-street parking and if necessary one could use the parking garage close to the cordoned-off block where some great food on this block lives. Enjoy!
