Simply stated, they are the best. Their technicians are great. You'll love their pedicures. I highly recommend their spa treatments.

My mother and I were both regulars here at Foxy Nail Spa. Every visit we would request Andy and he would perfect our nails along with providing spectacular service. It was brought to our knowledge upon arrival that the store had a new owner along with new employees. With Andy no longer there, the receptionist ensured that the woman who would be servicing my mother does just as great. With the height of COVID, we were instructed to write done our service along with generic information and followed by a wellness temperature check. We then go to the pedicure station, and I noticed how the woman cut my mothers toes extremely short and used incorrect polish. Not wanting to cause a scene, my mother went on to "enjoy" the amateur service. When asked how the pedicure was by the receptionist, my mother stated how it was "okay" in which she herself could've performed better. Moving on, we went to pick a color but were shocked to see how there wasn't much of a variety. The colors were not only dull but were displayed so poorly. Finally, we found a decent color and showed the woman a picture of the exact length and shape of the nails my mother wanted. The nail tech began putting gel polish on my mother's real nail! When then explained how we were here for a FULL SET like we stated on the papers we signed. She then began shaping the nail and my mother politely expressed how she wasn't fond of the shape. The nail tech tried correcting it a second time, getting frustrated. My mother then requested for someone else to do the job because the tech was making her uncomfortable. Not only did the woman respond to my mother, but said "calm down", "chill out". Hearing her response I checked her and told her not to speak to my mother that way. I then requested the manager, and he was of no assistance. We explained how we showed a photo and his response was "pictures are edited and altered, so it's harder to receive a replica". WHAT?! We should've left there, but we stayed and had another tech finish the job. The new tech then aggressively grabbed my mother's hand, and began filing. At that point I had enough and told the man to stop. We got the the front and thinking they would at least provide some type of discount for the less than quality service I was surely mistaken. I paid $65 for some nonsense and included a non deserving tip to the tech. And we weren't the only non satisfied customers, there were guests who complained as well. I received a receipt and called the store later to speak with the manger, and not only did he answer the phone unprofessionally but it upset me to the point where I just hung up. Update** We go to another salon and the tech informs us that Foxy's employees cut the inside of my mother's nail. She now is wearing a bandage! DO NOT SPEND YOUR DOLLARS HERE! This was my first time coming to this establishment and I am truly disappointed. First off I can say that they were crowded but it was my fault for going there in the first place. I looked at reviews but went anyway. They had a customer upset because they painted her toenails the wrong color. And then another customer got upset about the price they had to pay. My feet and toes were not the best but because I had went anyway I was just going to chalk it up as a loss. But today not even 24 hours later my hands are a different color than my feet and I have chips on my polish. I would never go back!!!!!!!!! read more

This place sucks, they did a terrible job at my acrylics. They didn't even fill the sides of my nails and they didn't paint the sides either. they left my cuticles bleeding, and to take off previous acrylics she tore them off and scraped them off with nails. 60 dollars for a hack job. read more

NEVER go to this nail salon. $20 for a soak off of all nails. When asked about having only TWO nails soaked off, manager said "okay yeah we can do that." Got my TWO nails soaked off that took 10 minutes, payment was TWENTY DOLLARS. When I asked the manager why $20 for TWO nails, she said that's the rule. Reported to mall management and this isn't the first time theyve been reported. Reportedly, the husband/coowner has chased people out before.... The mall actually is wanting them to be kicked out but it takes time to do that. When reviewed online, the coowner, Ken, emailed me back very unprofessionally and said "if you want to make your own prices up, I suggest you open your own salon" THE CUSTOMER IS ALWAYS RIGHT. I have been looking for a dependable nail tech for and have been going to a different place each time, trying people out and leaving disappointed. I saw a girl at the gas station with fabulous, bright, long, perfect nails and When I asked, she said she goes to Foxy Nails and told me to make sure to ask for Andy. I was on my way to the mall already so it was perfect. I looked up the place for directions and saw it had HORRIBLE reviews so I second guessed it but y'all that girls nails were so perfect I just had to try it out. I made an appointment and was in and out in about thirty minutes for a fill in with gel polish with a cut down and it was $30. I am so happy with my nails, the shape and color is perfect and Andy took his time making sure my nails were done well. I am so happy I finally found a good nail place to depend on, Andy was so sweet and friendly too, everyone in the shop that day was happy and friendly, all the customers seemed very satisfied with the work. I can't speak on the other techs, but don't let the bad reviews deter you from trying Foxy Nails out Edit: for some reason Andy's work has gone downhill so I'm not going there anymore. read more

I got my nails done Monday of this past week. Two days later, one of my nails came off. I went to go get it fixed the following day it broke, and they told me $5. Normal nail salons won't charge you if it has been past a week. The same day I got one fixed , it broke along with two others! NEVER AGAIN! If I could give negative stars, I would. I should have listened to the other reviews on yelp as well as other rating websites. Lets start with the process of getting a mani pedi. The whole time I was having my nails painted my nail tech kept calling me baby, and flirting. It made me really uncomfortable, at one point he even stopped and asked me if I "would like to go out back". He also kept talking to all of the other nail techs about me in a foreign language, and I know they were talking about me since I know a few select words as well as the fact that they kept looking at me and laughing. After this horrible experience was over, less than ten hours passed and all of the polish on my finger nails were gone. All I did was sleep, and that apparently caused it to all chip away. When I called to ask why this happened the lady very rudely told me that that is what normal nailpolish does. I have never had nailpolish come off while sleeping after getting my nails done. She continued to yell at me on the phone for a few mins and then put the phone down. I could hear everything she was saying to her co-workers, until she hung up. when I called back to speak to a manager she told me to call back because she needed to use the phone, I waited for a while before I called back and there was no answer. Bottom line, I do not recommend this place to anyone unless you want horrible customer service, snobby nail techs, and sexual harassment. read more

After a horrendous experience down the hall, I was so disappointed and ready to go home. But with working in jewelry my nails have to be on point. So I go in a tell the man what happened. He had Andy fix me up. And he really did! He shortened and shaped my nails the way I like. He made sure that the nails where not thick and glob like. I love this place. I used to come here regularly get my nails done. I had to stop getting acrylics because it got too expensive for me. But I just recently started back with getting acrylics. They are so nice here! The do a very good job and make sure that both hands match up and everything is even and the same length. Kim is their best nail tech and she's super sweet too. I highly recommend this place! Their prices aren't too bad either. I always leave here to find something a little bit cheaper but i always end up coming back here! read more

I've been a Foxy Nail customer for years but ever since Kim and her husband left, this place has gone down hill in every way possible. The service is horrible. They do horrible nails and predicates; polish jobs are unclean and not professional. Looks like a child could of painted your nails. Customer service is horrible and to make matters even worse, they are not following safety measure for Covid. They told my 19 and 16 year old daughters it would be a 10 minute wait,, ended up being over 45 minutes, then after they waited ===they had the nerve to refuse to do my 19 year old nails until they paid-- meanwhile nobody else paid for their nails BEFORE they are done!! They gave my daughter the 3rd degree as if she was a criminal!! They claim people steal nails from them--so my daughter was refused treatment until I returned to pick them up!! After waiting for them for over 45 minutes, I walked into this!! They will never see me and/or my daughters again. I been going to the nail shops for 40 years and nobody has required payment before service. Stop supporting people that discriminate against us--no service in the world is worth this!!!! I went to this location a while back and they were awful! They kept messing up my eyebrows on the visit and wouldn't give me a refund! Beware! They will throw the "no refund" policy in your face. Hell I wish I can give them 0 stars. First of all when I picked my color which was light blue and glitter blue. The man gone tell me it's too light still never figured out why tf it's a option if you gone tell me I can't have it, then he told me to change the color so I changed it to pink. So he started putting the wrong color then he ended up putting clear pink which was not the color I picked. So then I told him to give me a discount cause he fucked up my nails and he didn't. I would not recommend going to this nail salon. Majority of the workers do not take their time for the better quality of their work. Customer service is horrible. I noticed that there was still old powder that had been left on from my previous nail color. but the worker just simply tried to go over it and hide it. I did not like my nail color and one of the workers stated that I always said that when I come into their nail salon. I had a pedicure here today and it was the worst I have ever had. I paid $25 so I could get calouses removed. I don't use nail polish but the whole thing was done in 10 minutes. She put on the callous remover then pulled out a steel cheese grater. I'm not kidding. It was terrifying. Luckily she only did 5 strokes of that. Unfortunately she didn't remove any callouses, they aren't bad at all so I expect feet to be smooth after a pedicure. It gets worse. After the cheese grater rather than washing off the calloses remover which burns regular skin, she added a scrub and rubbed it all together on my legs. My legs were burning all the way home. I had to shower it off. She also spent the entire time trying to up sell me. Awful awful. read more

Horrible customer service!! I had a man remove my acrylics and made me bleed and 3 different fingers... that has never happened before anywhere! He was rough didn't even apologize or offer some discount for hurting my fingers. The second time I went I ended up with the same man again and while he was doing my nails he started coughing and didn't cover his mouth nor did her face away from my hands!!! It was disgusting this man really coughed on my hands! Then my last try of this place I went to get a polish change on my toes. It was a different young man who did my toes this time, he painted my toes, put on the toe separator thing and left... I didn't see him after that. I was sitting on the pedicure chair for 20 minutes before I asked someone where is the guy who did my toes and they told me he left... what in the world. I used to get my toes done at Foxy Nails a few years ago and always found it clean and satisfactory but the facility has become rundown and the staff is rude and racist. When another client wanted to know how long she'd have to wait to have her eyebrows done, the techs made fun of her behind her back (ladies, the "N" word in your native tongue sounds a lot like the "N" word in English, have some class). Walked in at 2:15, didn't leave til 4pm. I waited over an hour in lukewarm water, so they can take the ladies after me. The service was terrible. I've tried and tried to give this place a chance due to proximity and convenience, but it's truly been a hit or miss type of salon. I had good luck once or twice but mostly disappointment. The first strike was when I was getting my brows done and asked to have them just cleaned up a little and stressed to them that I did not want thin brows. I ended up with barely a pencil line and no one seemed to see a problem. On that same occasion as well as this past weekend, I've received nail services that are rushed with very little attention to detail. My gel polish on my nails began peeling off less than 4 hours after leaving this place, which I suspect is because my technician never allowed my nails to spend a full minute under the UV light between coats. She rushed through each layer and missed the edges of my nails. I understand the need to get through services quickly, but compromising quality is not the way to do it. I will not be back to this salon and I would not recommend it to anyone. read more

I moved to Charlotte 3years ago. Since then I have been a regular customer at this nail salon. I have had several issues with them over the years that has lead to me to seek out another salon. Because of convenience I have went back after things did not work out with the other salons. However, I will not be returning to this salon after yesterday. I went in for one nail repair around 12pm on a Sunday, so they were not really busy. After being told there would be a 15 minute wait, I was there for 90 MINUTES to get one nail fixed. After suggesting to the manager that I deserved a free repair which is equal to $4, he quickly reminded me that their client relationship with me was NOT worth $4. His exact words were "Give me a break. I only have two hands." I reminded him that since I was there, not only did he take another customer ahead of me, but he also took time talking to employees and changing the tv channel instead of doing my nail repair. I also mentioned to him that now matter what he is still responsible for providing adequate customer service. This business does not value my business. I will find somewhere else to go that does. Yes, I paid the $4 repair fee, but it will be the last $4 I give them. read more
