VERY DISAPPOINTING--GIVE A HARD PASS
They do not return phone calls; they will only text.
I have Rheumatoid Arthritis in my hands, and some days texting is too painful. Even the dictation feature doesn't help because of all the typos it leaves, and correcting them is just as bad as typing them out. Typing takes me forever!
Apparently, this upstart business is simply too busy. In their text, they stated they were very busy, too busy to call. So they definitely didn't need my business and were not willing or able to accommodate my disability with a SIMPLE QUICK PHONE CALL. A phone call would've taken less time than the texts.
A different groomer was so cheerful and happy I called, and very accommodating, and ABLE TO RETURN A PHONE CALL IN A VERY TIMELY MANNER! Fit my two cuties in for next week! I will review that groomer next week after their groom, but the phone call was very promising! It's nice to have a groomer who is at least as nice to the owners as they might be to the pets! (assuming they are also nice to the pets!)
As well, I know many good people who don't have or can't use texting, like my mother in law and a lot of other ladies in their 60s and 70s with pets needing groomers but they can't text. I know the world has moved on, but it's nice to know there are OTHER GROOMERS who can pick up the phone and call rather than try and rush through an impersonal text regardless of whether the person can text or not. I will spread the word that this groomer doesn't care. It's text or move on. So I moved on.
if you'd like to support people with disabilities, I'd suggest passing up this groomer. I will hopefully be able to review a much better one next week! read more
