They wrote up an incident but refused to play back camera to justify the incident. I tried them again despite what my husband said and two weeks later she had scratches on her neck and chest like someone grab her by her collar and once again they wrote up the incident and told me the same excuse as before; " she and another child was grabbing at the same toy", that was the last draw she no longer goes there. I should of called the police to get a better explanation than that...... my child had just made 2 had no experience with daycare, fighting or interaction with any kids... I feel she shouldn't have been subject to being scratched up helplessly. They have cameras but parents have no access to them not even to check on your children throughout the day. You think the money you spend with them you should have camera access to check on your kids what is there to hide? Was it an adult or child miss treating my child who knows but that explains why she was hesitant going inside every day. It's just not fair at all to him or his mother/family. Update (4-17-2024): I just found out, from my connections in…read morethe daycare industry, that Lifetime Learning Center currently has an active investigation against them by the Texas Department of Family & Protective Services, the portion of the government that credentials, certifies, and manages the regulatory standards of care for childcare facilities, for gross negligence of a child. Lifetime Learning Center is currently under investigation for leaving a child outside of the daycare, unattended, for an extended period of time. Not only did they do this, but they also did not self-report the incident to TDFPS, which they are required to by law. AND, worst of all, they did not even tell the parent about the incident. They 100% tried to cover it up and pretend that it never happened. Now I know why they force parents to sign a document that releases them from ALL responsibility for children in their care, even as a result of negligence. Yes, that is what their documents say. If the staff is negligent and it results in something happening to your kid......the forms they FORCE you to sign say that they are not liable at all. No wonder Karen was so aggressive and confrontational with me when I had questions about that part of their paperwork. She is actively trying to cover herself from lawsuits for the negligence her staff has clearly exhibited. If you take your kid to this daycare, or even consider it, READ the forms before you sign anything. Don't take my word for any of this. Watch the video. Listen to the audio. File a request for information from the TDFPS about their current investigation, and past investigations. Do your due diligence for the sake of your child. Because this is NOT a daycare you want your children to go to at all. If the staff is negligent, and leads to the injury or distress of your child, they will actively try to hide that from you, the parent. -------------------------------------- Original Review: I would give -20 stars if I was able to. I am legitimately contemplating pursuing legal action against the owner. Looking at some of the other 1 star reviews, clearly I am not the only person that has had to deal with the owner being asked questions. The owner is extremely confrontational, accusatory, and physically assaulted me. I have a video showing a portion of the confrontation and recorded audio spelling out MOST of the confrontation that took place today, April 9th, 2024 @ 12:00 PM Central Time. I walked in to pick up my son and the owner, Karen, completely blindsided me with confrontational attitude and false accusations. She then tried to put her hands on me inside of the school, which I know her cameras captured, and then while I was standing outside, next to the door, she used her entire body to shove me backwards while I was holding my 1 year old son in my hands. Why did this take place? That is a somewhat long story......but I uploaded video and audio of the encounter to youtube. Between the terrible communication with the staff, the mentally unstable confrontational approach to handling issues, the complete lack of conflict resolution skills (which I am sure get injected to the classrooms as well), to the literal physical assault.....do NOT bring your children here.
