They gave me the runaround for weeks and then Karen told me me they wouldn't refund unless I dig up the plants to show them the dead roots. What? The plants never came up, I have no idea where to dig, and they'd be rotted out by now anyway. Karen is a poor representative of the company and this policy makes no sense. For a full irrigation system, labour, and for expertise in plant selection. Seven ferns that were planted in the sun died right away, and those were replaced with heartier plants - all before the final payment was made. Since then, we've continued to lose plants and had poor response, taking a month to finally hear back that they won't help us. The consensus is that the holes and soil amendments were not adequate for the clay soil. He promised big holes with lots of soil, but the holes were dug not more than an inch bigger than the plants. Those we have replaced show clay right under the plants. We gave the manager multiple opportunities to resolve this situation. We offered to dig the holes and replant the seven remaining them if they would give us the replacements. Now we are doing that on our own. Buy your plants at Kurt's, but install them yourselves, or higher someone who will standby their work. They are nice people, just some unfortunate managment.

As she entered the door to the Restore, she swung back around and snapped at me about my car being parked in the handicap spot if I'm not disabled. I personally am not, but my mother-in-law is, and my mother-in-law was still checking out her items, and we had the disabled placard hung up in the car. Again, not a single word after this. She did tell me my trunk wasn't closed fully though, so I appreciated that. I guess she had to have the last word? I was made to feel like a criminal. I went to the counter where my mother-in-law was checking out and told her how the manager just rudely spoke to and treated me. The staff at the counter apologized and I replied it's not their fault. It's obvious to me the manager hates her job, so for the sake of ensuring continued business by well-meaning customers, she should either show some respect or let someone who can smile take her job.

When she finally was able to compute that, everything went fairly smoothly until some moron blocked the parking lot with their trailer and then she came out and asked me if I was carrying my furniture I bought to my car...lol I would pay someone to do that for me Julie, if that was the case. I wanted it to feel abundant, natural, and full of interesting textures. I also asked her to create a floral lapel for my husband after stumbling across one on Pinterest.
