There is a younger gentleman that has been there too. I believe he's a family member, too. The first time I went, I parked and had a quarter ready to pay for my parking. He told me that parking is free on the weekends. I thanked him for the info and he proceeded to hold the door open for me when I entered the store. The last time I went, the owner and his wife had just locked up the store and was heading to their car. They stopped to ask me what I needed. I told them I was there to get a Sunday paper. He apologized and explained they had a family emergency but I could come in the morning and they would have one put aside for me. I wished them well and told them to go attend to their family, but I appreciated their thoughtfulness. I was told by a couple of people who frequent this newsstand that they like coming here for the same reason. It is nice to see people who genuinely care about their customers.

Virtually every Stephen-A Smith telecast is a monologue, even with experts and ex-players on the show presumably invited to talk. Not as well known, but at least as difficult to watch as Smith, is Tony Kornheiser, who shares time on the 5-times weekly Pardon the Interruption with the benignly knowledgeable Mike Wilbon. Kornheiser is just plain awful, and difficult to watch because of his mannerisms, such as putting on then taking off his eyeglasses. In my view, the best analysts include Kendrick Perkins on the NBA and Marcus Spears, Ryan Clark, and Domonique Foxworth on the NFL.
