We worked with Marilyn out of the Brookfield, WI office. We booked a 2025 trip to New Zealand and Australia on Viking. We are glad we worked with Marilyn and FWT. Marilyn went above and beyond in answering our questions. She had Viking on the phone several times while we were in her office or through a conference call when outside of her office. Many questions she asked of Viking were beyond what we knew to ask. She has a unique hardcopy process that really works well. She also provided a step by step "To Do" list bringing our booking to conclusion. read more

I called on 8/21 to change an 8/23 flight. Lisa was very helpful and talked me through doing a same day change instead because it would be free. On 8/23, I called Fox World Travel again at 6 am. I was told my ticket changed, and I received a confirmation email. When I showed up to the airport, the gate agent informed me that I did not have a ticket. I had to call Fox World Travel again from the airport to get the ticket. It took over an hour to sort out (thank god I arrived early). On the phone, they said that they were honoring the same day change that had previously been discussed. Then I found out the next day that they had charged $200 to my card without my consent and without informing me at all. I was charged a total of $45 ($15 each) for these calls alone which left me stranded at the airport waiting on a ticket for hours. Honestly, I don't think I have ever been scammed harder. read more

Well I survived my trip, but no thanks to Fox World. I feel I am an easy trip goer, asked for somewhere in the Caribbean, gave the range of dates, the price range, and said no Mexico just went last year. For the reply got a list of places in Mexico, really! Was told couldn't find anything outside of there that was in my price. So I sent in my Expedia search showing multiple other areas. Doing their job for them I guess, we went with a place I picked and just got worse from there. Problems 1) Was told got $1500 resort credit to be used on anything, only reason we booked with them. Surprise it was a useless expired coupon book. Called to complain about it, my agent laughed at me and hung up. Called back and the manager said they would do better training; what the hell does that do. When I asked if I could at least the charge for using them removed due to the screw up they said no I'm in contract. Glad to know I have to fulfill my end of the contract but they don't. 2) Wouldn't help book anything there at the resort, but they did give a phone number to the resort, didn't get the 1-800 number so got surprise charge of $20 on cell phone for international call. 3) Booked my bag on the airplane for ride down, not ride back. Guess I can't bring my clothes back with me. Glad I caught that. 4) Worst seats on the plane, all the way in the back, I could have done that. 5) Got transferred to another rep from a different location because the first one was soo bad, she started off good but didn't help too much and never contacted prior to the trip, during the trip, or after. Very poor customer service. 6) Excursions, I guess they don't help with that, Expedia does though for free might I add. So because my coupon book was messed up got $50 excursion credit, not $1,500 just $50. But the catch is can only use once I'm down there, and the website for the excursions gave me books up before I show up and none of the excursions on the damn list pick up from my hotel. Another useless assist. Overall the worst. most useless. unexperienced. unhelpful. company out there I have ever used. I'd been better off with anything else besides them. read more

Not professional I am not sure what business they are advertising I worked through Schneider for booking a flight and hotel they air that was booked had my leaving from midway airport going to ST LOUIS then going to Baltimore for a layover total trip 6.5 hours I booked a direct flight 10 bucks cheaper and flight was straight through 1.5 hours can anybody explain what are they doing. read more

Travel agent barely had time for us and we basically had to do all the research ourselves. We should have just done everything ourselves since we are stuck at the airport for 7 1/2 hours with nothing to do. Why couldn't she have found a sooner flight or atleast tried to or asked us our thoughts on a huge wait. She didn't care and wanted to move onto her next client as fast as possible. Allison Davis at the Oshkosh branch is amazing! Not only did she find me an amazing deal on a last minute get-a-way, but she walked me through each little detail as I asked multiple questions! In today's day and age, I get it-- a lot can be booked yourself, but for me, a) I couldn't match the price on my own (she's magic!) and b) I wanted someone who could recommend from experience where to go. I was not about to invest in time out of the country without the assurance it was going to be AS advertised. I did that once-- never again. I really do believe that this company should accommodate us as drivers for big companies better than they have. They are giving us the cheapest hotels on earth. The worst experience ever; Martha was horrible, answered very few questions, had little and/or no knowledge of my resort or destination. When the 9 women and children were murdered in Mexico I cancelled my trip and she not only kept my $250.00 deposit, plus she charged me another $200.00 for Apple Vacations cancellation fee. Very cold, distant "could care less" attitude. Thankfully; I found Travel Plus and Jim was fantastic, excellent service and a true professional, plus, Fox wanted $2500.00 for 7 days/5 layovers, Jim got me 14 days for $2800.00/DIRECT flight each way at normal daytime hours. Unbelievably bad customer service. I went there today. There were 6 agents. No one said hello. One agent reluctantly asked if she could help me. She started to help and then said she couldn't help me because she had paperwork. She turned to the agent behind her who was on THE PHONE and asked her. This agent looked annoyed. I sat at her desk for a couple of minutes and finally asked the person behind her if she could help. She said no because she was waiting for a conference call. My wife and I where working fox world Travel for over a week trying to LOCK down a dream vacation for us and our friends. Our friends who where getting married that week and coming with us for there honeymoon. For three days were emailing to Brenda the travel agent and she would respond with short emails that she was looking. She would come back with worse deals that we where finding online ourselves. We finally found a great deal and called her that night to LOCK in the flights and rooms but she was not in. We asked to LOCK in with another agent and they said it was against there policy to step over those lines I would have to work with her. We called right away in the morning and the deal ended that night. There solution was to pay the extra 500 that the price went up or choose different dates. Dates that we already have scheduled through our companies to have off. We are not sure if those days will all be available seeing we planned it weeks ago for that specific week. I think this Is crazy that we lost our dream vacation because there agents could lock in our flight for that day and hand it over to Brenda the next day. Who do they work for us or themselves? Booked a vacation with them, almost $4k, and then found the exact vacation elsewhere for hundreds cheaper. They refused to match the price. Problem was I had already paid my deposit, before I found the better deal. Said it was company policy to not match. I said that was foolish and now I am here making sure others know! read more
