And we knew there would be unexpected problems translating promises and proposals into performance. Nonetheless, we felt a certain confidence going forward. The project would have two parts. First, a 3-person Demo crew would tear down the original siding and do some carpentry to replace any rotted structure. Despite cold temperatures, this crew was tireless, efficient and, importantly, so personable that we looked forward to their arrival each morning. A second 3-person crew would follow to handle new siding installation and painting. Each day we watched closely as work proceeded. This crew, too, was amazing.
