Been a member here for a bit more than a year, on the Silver package. Great deal for me as I shoot maybe twice per month, so pretty reasonable. Plus free rentals if I want to try something new, discounts on transfers, etc. Most importantly, I've never had a bad experience here. The people are polite, the classes are good, and the facility is great, clean, bright, and rarely crowded (though I mostly go during the week). Nothing not to like here. read more

Bought an AR15 here recently and had what I considered a "bad experience" with a salesperson. I was a top salesperson (finance manager in car business) in my field, before I retired. After I took a step back and looked at the situation, it occurred to me the guy was doing his best to keep up, with was could only be considered a Tsunami on gun and ammo sales. After complaining I was given extra range time to make up for it and the manager didn't try to be defensive. At the range the guy who helped me gave me far more than my money's worth. I purchased a brand new AR15. Waited the 72 hours, paid cash to pick it up. Went to the range to try out the new rifle to find out it was built incorrectly. Not one round was ever shot through the barrel but the gun destroyed 7 rounds. Gunsmith took the firearm and showed coworkers who all laughed and said they've never seen something like this, and told me it would take 3-5 weeks to get it back. Spoke with Mark Glavin and he laughed at me because I was upset and offered me 5 dollars off. A very unprofessional owner who takes his customers as a joke. Last dollar I will spend with these guys. read more

I shoot for a number of different competitive shooting teams, and as a result I am a very regular visitor to this range. I have always like the facility, (clean, helpful staff, great selection), but what really set them apart from the rest was the way they handled an issue I was having with a recently purchased firearm. Long story short, after thorough testing on my part, and almost non-existent manufacture support, Kitty and Brant went out of there way to get the problem sorted. Many thanks to them. My cop buddies said this new range was all the rage. I drove over an hour to get there and it was so worth it! I have never met a more friendly staff and this includes Heather, John, and Bill. I haven't been to a shooting range in 9 years and I had a friend with me that hasn't ever shot a gun. Heard about this place and decided to check it out. The staff is friendly and very helpful. Good prices on ammunition and they have many firearms in stock to purchase and rent. I decided to go with the individual membership for $30 per month. It's a great deal if you like to go out shooting more than once a month. Honestly love this place. The people are cool and always super helpful. I've bought 3 weapons from here without any issues. Place is always super clean and the ranges are nice. I've paid for the 1 year membership twice now and it's been pretty well worth it since I can shoot whenever I want. This was my first visit to this range and I was very impressed. Plenty of parking, clean floors, friendly and professional staff, easy to use target position system and common sense target holders, comfortable shooting counters and ample of storage space underneath. Quiet and efficient air filtration system. Superb sound insulating walls and windows. Conveniently located hand washing station and refreshments area. I was most impressed with a stall that was designed to be wheelchair accessible with an adjustable height cart and lower positioned target position display unit. I will definitely be back and try to bring friends with me next time because I know they will enjoy this as much as I did. its $22 per person and $10 for 2nd shooter. twelve 75 foot lanes and two private 45 foot lanes. No steel core or steel cased ammo. read more

This is a really nice indoor range - very clean and modern. The staff is friendly and helpful. I opted to become a monthly Gold member. As a member, the discounts on ammo make their prices actually lower than some of the popular online ammo shops that I've been using for a while. Also, as a Gold member, being able to access the ranges an unlimited number of times each month is incredible and impossible to pass up. Truly the best deal anywhere around for someone who wants to shoot even just a few times a month. Highly recommended. read more

I am commenting on the shooting range facility and staff at the range counter. The prices of their guns on the wall are crazy. We all know where we can get guns cheap with no service (internet). But you can't fire your gun on the internet. 5 stars for the range facility, all the way. Super high class floors, counters, displays. The target carrier system is state of the art. TEMPERATURE and VENTILATION are perfect. No need to bad mouth other ranges here, but they could learn a lot from Fox Valley about temperature and ventilation. There was a $5 membership fee, but it was comp'ed back to me. So they must of changed their policy since then. I love this place and all my indoor shooting will be here. Also, the range staff at the counter were well beyond helpfull and respectful. Up the street you can deal with some real 20 year old punks that think they know every thing about shooting. Been here multiple times and will be pursuing a membership soon. Staff is great, place is clean, shooting facilities better than others close buy. Membership may have an initiation fee but it is still cheaper than the competition. For what you get, it is a way better value. read more

This range has friendly staff in person but on the phone they weren't the nicest. I asked some lady if they had a certain ammo and she immediately told me no. Once I went in to shoot though they were incredibly nice and made it a great time. I had to take a star off for the incorrect information. read more

It was our group's first time at Fox Valley Shooting Range. We do an organized group shoot every year between Christmas and New Year. It was by far the best shooting event yet! Our organizer, Chris, will be co-ordinating many more events here in the future, I am sure. Friendly staff and very informative on the various guns I looked at for purchase down the road. I live about 45 minutes away but this may be my new go-to range. Wait was very minimal, maybe 20 mins on a Sunday afternoon and that was for 2 lanes next to each other. Everyone we talked to was very nice and not at all intimidating like some other shops. Prices are very reasonable and the range ammo was pretty much the same as it would cost at a big box store. They may not have as many lanes as some other ranges but everything is very spacious and new and clean. Air quality was probably the best of any range I've been to. We had 2 new shooters and 2 experienced shooters in our group and were not given any trouble. The Range Officers seemed to be watching but did not have to bother us even once and let us be (we were obviously following all rules and being safe). Another huge benefit is rapid fire is allowed (as long as you are capable and safe). I don't know of any other indoor ranges in the area that allow that. Long story short, I'll be bringing back new shooters to this range next time because of the clean and unintimidating environment and reasonable prices. I don't mind waiting a little longer if I need to. They have a nice sitting area to watch as you wait. read more

There really is nothing negative I can say about Fox Valley. The staff are all top notch. The common area is very upscale looking, clean and organized. The range itself is the best I've been to in the area. One gets a feeling of being home at a family gathering. I shoot here at least twice a week mainly because of how great it is. I loved it so much I became a gold member as well as purchasing two pistols from them. I would recommend Fox Valley to anyone whether new to shooting or a veteran shooter. read more
