Outstanding Gutter Cleaning Service!…read more Our two-story home had a severely overflowing second story gutter. Fearing the damage the gushing water might cause, we needed to get our gutters cleaned fast. Our neighbor had recently used Bubbles Gutter Cleaning, and said they did a great job ... so we immediately called them. Antonio promptly gave us a competitive bid and he scheduled the work this week, as we requested (before the rains return this weekend). He and his helper showed up early(!), did a terrific job, finished promptly, and cleaned up nicely. Per our request, Antonio also installed six downspout strainers to fend off those pesky leaves. He texted us nine helpful pics of the cleaned gutters, and he also reported (and texted a pic of) a vent pipe cover that has failed. Antonio agreed to come back when things are dry to do some minor gutter repair work if needed. Communications were consistently timely and effective via text messages. Bottom line: The quality, value, and timeliness of the work were excellent. Antonio (aka Tony) did a great job in every way. Two thumbs up. Yes, we would recommend Bubbles Gutter Cleaning to our family and friends.

I am a disabled individual who was home for the service. I was in my office on the computer with the lights off, energy conservation and ample sun et al. I'm typing something and imagine my surprise as a harsh blast of air is blasted into my window. My ground-level, back yard window that had nothing from the gutter cleaning ordered on it with nothing else on the side of my house blasted. Imagine my surprise as I see one of the cleaners nearly nose-to-glass with my window grinning like an idiot as my cat - who had been fairly curiously watching - flees in a panic from the sudden loud noise. I don't think they saw me from behind my monitors and with the glare on the window, but they certainly saw the sun-lit cat in the window watching them before they decided to scare the poor thing. If that's the kind of people you're hiring that delight in the torment of animals, nobody should support this service.

He was confident that he could remove the lichen, which other companies could not. We also hired them to clean our gutters and roof, and apply a moss preventative. Vas respected our desire for environmentally-conscious and pet-safe cleaning products. The next day, Vas and his crew got right to work and I've never seen such efficiency. They have impressive equipment that can handle any exterior cleaning task. (I especially appreciated the ladders, that clamp onto the roof, avoiding dented gutters.) All of the services combined took only 3 hours and our yard looked neat and tidy. Costs for services were transparent and reasonable, with no hidden fees. We paid exactly what we agreed to. (btw, there is a discount for bundling services provided on the same day). They accept, cc, cash, and checks. I appreciated that they texted us photos of who would be working on our property. The staff are friendly, conscientious, and fun to work with. If you require any exterior cleaning services do not hesitate to call Vas at Grime Busters.

Disappointing Experience -- Customer Questions Seem Unwelcome…read more Well, Max initially communicated with us by email and seemed like a friendly sort of chap. After a few exchanges, we were handed over to Peter, who was equally friendly at first. Rather than coming out to inspect the property, they provide a basic quote based on Google Maps. We answered their questions and asked a few of our own. After several more days of correspondence, Peter informed us that they had a particular way of doing things and, apparently, our job wasn't a fit for their service. All we wanted was to have our gutters cleaned. We didn't want the roof cleaned, anyone walking on the roof, our downspouts disturbed, or our underground drainage pipes damaged. Nor did we want downspouts carelessly plugged with a blower, or the downspouts simply ignored altogether. I've personally maintained these gutters for 35 years, but at 72, I'm no longer keen on crawling around 30 feet off the ground. Having done the job myself for so long, I know what matters to us: attention to detail, care for the property, and integrity. We were polite and patient throughout the exchange. We simply wanted to understand their methods and make sure our concerns were understood before hiring them. Unfortunately, our questions seemed to wear out their patience before we ever got to the point of scheduling a job. Apparently, asking too many questions is enough to get shown the door. In hindsight, I'm glad we discovered this before hiring them rather than afterward. We want a service provider who welcomes reasonable questions and takes pride in doing the job properly. It seems this wasn't the right fit for either party. Good luck to them!
