I noticed no mosquito and tick help. supposedly sprayed and put down granules and bugs were awful by 5 days after it. now being told this company does only granule, so confused. Ways to contact are also awful. I run a cleaning business and making phone calls is difficult. They have no email or text options, can only call. Hoping 2nd appt is better than 1st. read more

A Fox Pest Control salesperson came to our home today around 7:20 p.m. to solicit business. My husband politely told the salesperson several times that we were not interested. We understand that door-to-door sales can be persistent, and that wasn't the issue. As the salesperson was leaving, they turned and said, "You don't have to be an asswipe." We were shocked by the comment. My husband and I own a business ourselves, and we understand the importance of professionalism and treating potential customers with respect--even when they decline your services. The entire interaction was captured on our Ring doorbell camera. Because of this experience, we will never consider using Fox Pest Control. I hope the company addresses this employee's conduct so other homeowners are treated with the courtesy and professionalism they deserve. read more

Technician gave a poor explanation of what he was doing. Did a terrible job. Had to remove Yellowjackets myself. Charged more than they quoted. When I told them I didn't want to pay for a job not accomplished, they threatened to send me to collections. Shady. Stay away. read more

This review is not specific for this location. It's about Fox Pest Control as a whole. Fox Pest Control is not a local company there located possibly in Utah and they use a call centre. I initially had no problem with this company however I signed a contract to add in mosquitoes and ticks. It worked at first until August when I had to call three times because the mosquitoes were so bad. I saw on my camera that the technician never sprayed the front yard and he was only in the backyard for a few minutes and it was raining. I called customer service and the girl claimed that they use a special formula for the rain. Which comes to find out it's totally not true. They came out again and sprayed and and there was still mosquitoes that we couldn't sit out in the backyard or the front yard anymore. They came again and on the third time they actually build me even though they contract says that they guarantee that it works I was told I would get a credit for the $102 that they charged me. I cancelled my contract for both the mosquitoes and for mice Control. I never received the Credit so I called back and was told that I would never get the Credit because they waive the $250 cancellation fee which I had no idea was on the contract. When I looked at the contract, they actually put on there that it started in March when I hadn't even contacted them until April, and then they didn't even spray the first time until sometime in May so I was paying for something that I hadn't even used yet. When I explained that to the customer service person she put me on hold and came back and said no, there would be no Credit. I asked to speak to a supervisor and she told me that it was already discussed and know there would be no one else that I could speak with. This is an awful awful company. Their customer service is horrendous. You can't speak to anyone at a local office. And their contract is bogus it actually is fraudulent. No one there is going to call me back apparently I'm never getting the Credit. I suggest anyone use a local Pest Control company and never Fox Pest Control because they are not local. You will never speak to anyone in a local office and their customer service is horrible. read more

Had a 2 year contract, full filled that contract. Now trying to cancel, what a nightmare. To get a real person on the phone takes a long time . They try to talk you into staying. Now I have to set up a phone call with a manager? Never again. I feel for the technicians that take the job serious , we had great and not so good read more

We spent just about $1,000 and still have rats in the yard. We would have one technician tell us one thing and then the very next visit a different technician would tell us something completely different. When we tried to cancel the service after our contract was up they charged us for two more months. After several phone calls they finally reimbursed us. I asked them to come pick up their equipment which they never did, couldn't even get a phone call back. I wouldn't recommend this company at all. read more

I have never contracted with this company yet.... they have charged $1254.00 on my credit card which I finally had to cancel the card to stop the charges. Trying to get a manager on the phone to take care of the situation is impossible. Stay clear!!! read more

Had an appointment scheduled on Friday for 3pm. When we called at 5pm, they told us they were still on track to come out.... Well we waited until 8pm and no one knocked on the door, no call, nothing. Service has been awful to get someone to follow through with what one tech says. read more

Best team ever. I can't even say enough good things about how professional and committed they are and how great to work with. They came in and did a full clean out and exclusion of my attic which was full of 35 year old, blow-in fiberglass insulation that had become home to many many mice over the years. It had gotten so nasty and energy inefficient that I decided it was time to just replace it all. While insulation companies wanted to just put new insulation over top of it (and leave the mice and gross fiberglass!) Fox's team came in and did a complete clean out, exclusion, sanitize, good as new. It was such a huge job that they probably should have been able to have a couple of days, but in the middle of freezing winter, I couldn't go multiple days without insulation and so they stayed until the whole thing was completely finished and ready for when the installers arrived the next morning. I'm used to nationwide businesses having faceless employees you see once and never again, but I have to say that working with Fox this past year has been just like working with a local company. I already knew the people, was comfortable with them in my house, and happy to see them back. Recommend them highly! read more

Technician Jeff is thorough, attentive and professional!! He does a great job representing Fox Pest Control!

We have had great results and great customer service from Fox. I feel they get a bad reputation because they go door to door but I like the old school style of selling! They were great when they came door to door and the price is reasonable. They come right away when we call and always do a great job! Recommend working with them! read more

We've been using Fox for about 2.5 years now and we highly recommend! Quarterly spraying around house and rebating mouse traps . Corey was extremely professional and friendly . read more

This company requires too much follow up and does not return customer service calls. Email requests for calls and leaving a call back number also do not work. I have devoted too much time to rectify a charge for service when the technician did not service my home and sent multiple text messages to change outdoor service then did not perform the work on any day promised. $860 for service for one quick initial treatment and 1 yard enjoyment. Don't waste your time and money! read more

I had these guys come to my house in Hollis nh I'd never get their service again 90$ a month for noting they come once every 4-5 months I call to cancel and they want a fee to cancel I refuse to pay the cancellation fee then it goes to collection do not ever sign up with these services they suck I wouldn't let them do any work around my house it as bad the next with mosquitoes read more

Jay called when he was on his way. I told him what our immediate needs were along with the usual service. He contacted me once he arrived while I was not home to discuss the detailed service needed. As it is Springtime, there are lots of wasps and black flies. He treated those areas. I was very impressed with Jays follow up and input . I highly recommend this service and Jay as a technician. read more

knocked on my door at 9pm and then were extremely pushy and helped themselves to walk around the yard. I think this company must be a scam. They charged almost $3000 to treat a condo. The treatment didn't work. They came back and retreated and that didn't work either. Now they are saying my contract has expired and I have to pay another $3000. Very bad at scheduling and do not follow up on their promises. Stay away read more

I have used them fir several years and the technicians are very good, will do whatever you ask. The price has increased about 40% over last two years with no notification from the company about increases. Do not sign a contract with these people because you cannot get out of it without a large termination fee. I never remember signing anything My fault! read more

My technician Ruben Sinisterra did an awesome job. He came out for a target treatment that I requested when I was having a problem with bees and hornets. He came out right away and took care of the problem. He also comes out for my regular quarterly treatments; he is very professional and courteous and goes above and beyond to make sure he addresses any concerns that I have. He is a pleasure to work with! read more

I wanted to rate it lower, but the people are very polite. Lousy product (?) and incompetent people. The guy sprayed the outside of my house in the rain. I consulted with a few people who mentioned that it sounded like a scam. When I mentioned it to the Fox Pest Control people, they said that they could do it again, and gave me other "options". I think this is like that scam where splarck paint on you driveway and tell you that they paved it. I ended up cancelling the contract and HAD TO PAY $150 to cancel. I would rather PAY TO STOP DOING BUSINESS with them, than continue - that should lell yoiu about the type of company they are. BTW, I almost never write a bad review online. But I am hoping to save someone else from signing thewir contract. read more

Update : They answered me on Yelp and said they wanted to help and to call and talk to Katie E. Well I have called several times in the last two days and talk to several people that had no clue who Katie E. is and that they would make some calls and call me back which never happened with several different people the latest one that prommissed he would get back to me was Kevin from the Manchester office. Know they say they can't legally spry my yard unless I am under contract, so why tell someone you want to help when all you do is waste lots of my time and yours on the phone with more excuses. It only makes you look way worst. Still Have my problem that you made for me, Thanks Michelle B. but why you answer and make it sound like you are going to help on yelp is beyond me. read more

Watch out. These guys are tricky. We used Fox Pest Control for a couple of years, mainly as a tick preventive. I don't have anything to gauge it by, so I guess it was ok but we still had a lot of ticks.. Lately we had second thoughts about how often we wanted to use them and I cancelled our appointment. They reset it without my permission and I cancelled it again. Today I got a message that the "tech" was 10 minutes away. I was not home and missed the message. When I checked my credit card, they had charged it. I called fox and the woman parroted me the usual canned bunch of excuses peppered with my favorite useless words like " I do apologize"and "unfortunately." Her bottom line was "because we did the service, we cant issue a refund." So I guess they think that if they do the service even when told not to that is it ok to charge. I will be disputing the charge and filing a complaint. Use Fox at your own risk. read more

DON'T DO IT! If I could leave a zero rating for FOX PEST CONTROL, I would. After the fast talking, lying salesperson bamboozles you into picking his company for pest services this is only the beginning. I will say he is polite and friendly but this is how he hooks you. First, he says that "a lot of your neighbors have already signed up" A lie. No one else in our neighborhood signed up I found out afterwards. Next, he gives you the "what a beautiful home you have" BS. Next, the price. He gets you to believe that after the initial down payment of $180 by credit card you will be billed monthly for the remaining, which I believed would be another $180.00, for a total of $360.00 for 4 quarterly inspections/sprayings. Wrong. Shame on me for not questioning the math. Actually they charged me $60.00/month which would mean $720.00 a year for 4 sprayings. That's $180.00 a visit. Lastly, he didn't listen. I specifically told him that no one comes to my house when I'm not home, no one steps foot on my property if I'm not there, and I WANT to be notified prior to any tech coming so we can set a time for me and the tech to be there. This way I can see what the product is and where and how is distributed on my property. He said 'of course". I gave him my cell # for main contact and home # for a back up which at the time I thought was a good idea. Now the fun starts. While away from home for a few days I get a text message saying "HI this is so and so from Fox Pest, just wanted to let you know I just completed your first treatment and everything looks great" Black flag. Now I'm slightly agitated, but maybe it wasn't her fault. Gave her the benefit of the doubt she wasn't told not to come if I'm not home. Called my local office in Manchester NH. Was on hold for 27 minutes before speaking to a human being. Told her the situation. She was apologetic. Said it wouldn't happen again. Fast forward 3 months for the next spraying. Was away for Labor Day weekend. Get home around 5pm Monday. Answering machine blinking. Only 1 message. "Hi this is so and so (notice I'm not using real names) from Fox Pest, just did your service and all looks good." Again, no notification to set and confirm appointment and no text. Probably knew most people are away for the long weekend and now would be a good time to go and pray no one is home and do absolutely nothing. Ran right outside to look around. No evidence of spraying or and type of granules. Now I'm very agitated. Called office again. Guy this time, very apologetic. After telling him what I thought of his company, his salesperson and how no one listens, he set a date for the following Thursday and would make sure his best tech will meet me and show me everything and perform another spraying at no charge. Was to come between the hours of 3pm and 5pm. Took 2 hours off from work to meet with him at their time schedule. Get a text around 2:30pm saying tech is sick and can't make appointment. Okay, we all get sick. Get text next day that another tech will meet me on Saturday. Ok. Great, I don't work Saturday. Text him saying anytime after 10am Saturday will work for me. No reply. Around noon time sent text asking his arrival time. No reply. Again later in the afternoon. And you guessed it. No reply. Never showed. Now, I'm furious. Called office during normal hours. Once again, 35 minutes on hold. Told her all the issues and that I wanted to opt out of this whole thing right now. She said she could have someone there the following day and could meet and go over everything. Told her no. I can't take any more time off from work and wish anyone from this company at my house. She got nasty with me and then said it would cost me $250.00 to void my contract that I don't remembering signing. They had no problem taking the money but problems keeping their end of the contract by giving me a service which I paid good money for and don't believe I ever received. Maybe I'll get the better business bureau a call. Jim P read more

highly ineffective and bullies to boot. i had them spray my yard and waited the 2 weeks i was told to for the spray to take effect. 2 weeks have since passed and it's the same as it was before they sprayed. i tried to cancel and the representative kept talking over me telling me that i can schedule extra appointments ignoring my request to cancel. finally after trying to cancel 20 times i was told that since I'm under contract i have no choice unless i pay a cancellation fee that's over double of what the service cost. so there's no actual guarantee or promise to make things right. i signed a contract and now i have to pay for 2 months plus to cancel. read more

Lousy service , rude technicians and rude to the elderly!! Enough said. Oh one more thing the service operator is kind.but that does not make up how the technician treated us. Never again. Very unhappy with our service. We have an animal in our ceiling so we had someone come out to formulate a plan to deal with it. Technician only looked at the outside of the house and set out to try and trap a squirrel. We were charged $600 in advance and after 5 days of having the trap out nothing was caught. Then the technician looked inside the house and determined the animal may be a mouse. Dealing with the mouse issue would be another charge for $300. We were not happy with this and tried to contact the company, after several calls and emails we finally got a call a week later and told we were out of luck there was no refund or applying what we paid to the new service. Lady on the phone didn't offer any sympathy or try to make us happy. That's lousy customer service go elsewhere. read more

This company is to be avoided like the plague! They dazzle you with a presentation that is full of claims and promises that are false. If a door to door salesman comes, do NOT let him even talk to you! The one that came had NO information to leave but just fast talked and told us that he could give us info but that to get the "special price" we needed to sign up today. How were we foolish enough to buy the service is difficult to understand other than we found the guy friendly, polite and personable (evidently part of the sales process!). The first tech came out and did NOT do what the salesperson promised so they sent someone else out to fulfill the agreement. Then when there was another problem that we discovered as a lie in the promise, in calling, they do not answer their phones! They say if you want to press 9 they'll call you back! Good luck with that! 3 phone calls on different days and they didn't call back so the next day I called and stayed on the line and when they said if you prefer to stay on to speak to a rep press * so I did...and it actually disconnected the call! They finally called back after I put in a fraudulent charge with my credit card company. Then they offered to cancel and charged me $140 to cancel! Crooks and liars! read more

I signed up with this company in the spring of 2020 because many of my neighbors highly recommended them. The latest service was November 18, 2020 with the same pest technician who knows my property well now and is always very professional and thorough. First, he asks me if I'm aware of any new issues or problems. He inspects the entire exterior and explains the work he is doing every time and also shows me where rodents might be getting in and then he has blocked them. This is the first year [in 5 years] we haven't had rodents inside our home and walls. In the summer when I told him about some bees or wasps on one side of my home, almost immediately he found the hole in the ground where they were coming from and sprayed it, making it safe to work on that side of my home for the rest of the summer. Because of their service, I don't have any more spider webs and nests on the side of my home and getting into the inside. When it was 90 degrees this past summer, he went into an attic space and removed paper and mud wasp nests while they were flying around him and blocked holes he could access where they were getting into the attic. Our most recent problem was squirrels getting into our vehicles and chewing wiring. The technician installed two exterior bait stations and showed me exactly how they were safe for our dog. He also installed termite bait stations to make sure I'm not having a problem with them because my neighbors are. At first, I thought the yearly cost was a lot, but the cost of injury or damage by wasps, yellow jackets, stink bugs, mice, rats, rodents, squirrels, termites, carpenter ants is greater. I was a co-owner of a home inspection company for 20 years which ended in a divorce 12 years ago. I have seen the damage and I knew it was time to have a pest control company help me with the above issues. read more
