Best team ever. I can't even say enough good things about how professional and committed they are and how great to work with. They came in and did a full clean out and exclusion of my attic which was full of 35 year old, blow-in fiberglass insulation that had become home to many many mice over the years. It had gotten so nasty and energy inefficient that I decided it was time to just replace it all. While insulation companies wanted to just put new insulation over top of it (and leave the mice and gross fiberglass!) Fox's team came in and did a complete clean out, exclusion, sanitize, good as new. It was such a huge job that they probably should have been able to have a couple of days, but in the middle of freezing winter, I couldn't go multiple days without insulation and so they stayed until the whole thing was completely finished and ready for when the installers arrived the next morning. I'm used to nationwide businesses having faceless employees you see once and never again, but I have to say that working with Fox this past year has been just like working with a local company. I have never contracted with this company yet.... they have charged $1254.00 on my credit card which I finally had to cancel the card to stop the charges. Trying to get a manager on the phone to take care of the situation is impossible. Stay clear!!! read more

We have had great results and great customer service from Fox. I feel they get a bad reputation because they go door to door but I like the old school style of selling! Jay called when he was on his way. I told him what our immediate needs were along with the usual service. He contacted me once he arrived while I was not home to discuss the detailed service needed. As it is Springtime, there are lots of wasps and black flies. He treated those areas. I was very impressed with Jays follow up and input . This company requires too much follow up and does not return customer service calls. Email requests for calls and leaving a call back number also do not work. I have devoted too much time to rectify a charge for service when the technician did not service my home and sent multiple text messages to change outdoor service then did not perform the work on any day promised. $860 for service for one quick initial treatment and 1 yard enjoyment. I have used them fir several years and the technicians are very good, will do whatever you ask. The price has increased about 40% over last two years with no notification from the company about increases. Do not sign a contract with these people because you cannot get out of it without a large termination fee. I never remember signing anything My fault! read more

I think this company must be a scam. They charged almost $3000 to treat a condo. The treatment didn't work. They came back and retreated and that didn't work either. My technician Ruben Sinisterra did an awesome job. He came out for a target treatment that I requested when I was having a problem with bees and hornets. He came out right away and took care of the problem. He also comes out for my regular quarterly treatments; he is very professional and courteous and goes above and beyond to make sure he addresses any concerns that I have. I wanted to rate it lower, but the people are very polite. Lousy product (?) and incompetent people. The guy sprayed the outside of my house in the rain. I consulted with a few people who mentioned that it sounded like a scam. When I mentioned it to the Fox Pest Control people, they said that they could do it again, and gave me other "options". I think this is like that scam where splarck paint on you driveway and tell you that they paved it. I ended up cancelling the contract and HAD TO PAY $150 to cancel. I would rather PAY TO STOP DOING BUSINESS with them, than continue - that should lell yoiu about the type of company they are. BTW, I almost never write a bad review online. Well I have called several times in the last two days and talk to several people that had no clue who Katie E. is and that they would make some calls and call me back which never happened with several different people the latest one that prommissed he would get back to me was Kevin from the Manchester office. Know they say they can't legally spry my yard unless I am under contract, so why tell someone you want to help when all you do is waste lots of my time and yours on the phone with more excuses. It cost me $275.00 for them to come once and spray for boxelder beetles and ants. $62.00 a month for service contract. And $250. termination fee for canceling there service that I was not happy with. Thats $587.00 for them not to kill my bugs! I bought a couple cans of raid and took care of thise beetles.Oh and there was never a mention of $250. canceling fee, Big Surprise! Watch out. These guys are tricky. We used Fox Pest Control for a couple of years, mainly as a tick preventive. I don't have anything to gauge it by, so I guess it was ok but we still had a lot of ticks.. Lately we had second thoughts about how often we wanted to use them and I cancelled our appointment. They reset it without my permission and I cancelled it again. Today I got a message that the "tech" was 10 minutes away. I was not home and missed the message. When I checked my credit card, they had charged it. I called fox and the woman parroted me the usual canned bunch of excuses peppered with my favorite useless words like " I do apologize"and "unfortunately." Her bottom line was "because we did the service, we cant issue a refund." So I guess they think that if they do the service even when told not to that is it ok to charge. I will be disputing the charge and filing a complaint. Use Fox at your own risk. read more

Very rude ! The people from this company came to our door during Covid and wouldn't get off my property. I told them I wasn't interested and they kept insisting that I tell them who I use. When I finally did tell them, they said that they never heard of our company and that they could do a better job. highly ineffective and bullies to boot. i had them spray my yard and waited the 2 weeks i was told to for the spray to take effect. 2 weeks have since passed and it's the same as it was before they sprayed. i tried to cancel and the representative kept talking over me telling me that i can schedule extra appointments ignoring my request to cancel. finally after trying to cancel 20 times i was told that since I'm under contract i have no choice unless i pay a cancellation fee that's over double of what the service cost. so there's no actual guarantee or promise to make things right. i signed a contract and now i have to pay for 2 months plus to cancel. read more

DON'T DO IT! If I could leave a zero rating for FOX PEST CONTROL, I would. After the fast talking, lying salesperson bamboozles you into picking his company for pest services this is only the beginning. I will say he is polite and friendly but this is how he hooks you. First, he says that "a lot of your neighbors have already signed up" A lie. No one else in our neighborhood signed up I found out afterwards. Next, he gives you the "what a beautiful home you have" BS. Next, the price. He gets you to believe that after the initial down payment of $180 by credit card you will be billed monthly for the remaining, which I believed would be another $180.00, for a total of $360.00 for 4 quarterly inspections/sprayings. Wrong. Shame on me for not questioning the math. Actually they charged me $60.00/month which would mean $720.00 a year for 4 sprayings. That's $180.00 a visit. Lastly, he didn't listen. I specifically told him that no one comes to my house when I'm not home, no one steps foot on my property if I'm not there, and I WANT to be notified prior to any tech coming so we can set a time for me and the tech to be there. This way I can see what the product is and where and how is distributed on my property. He said 'of course". I gave him my cell # for main contact and home # for a back up which at the time I thought was a good idea. Now the fun starts. While away from home for a few days I get a text message saying "HI this is so and so from Fox Pest, just wanted to let you know I just completed your first treatment and everything looks great" Black flag. Now I'm slightly agitated, but maybe it wasn't her fault. Gave her the benefit of the doubt she wasn't told not to come if I'm not home. Called my local office in Manchester NH. Was on hold for 27 minutes before speaking to a human being. Told her the situation. She was apologetic. Said it wouldn't happen again. Fast forward 3 months for the next spraying. Was away for Labor Day weekend. Get home around 5pm Monday. Answering machine blinking. Only 1 message. "Hi this is so and so (notice I'm not using real names) from Fox Pest, just did your service and all looks good." Again, no notification to set and confirm appointment and no text. Probably knew most people are away for the long weekend and now would be a good time to go and pray no one is home and do absolutely nothing. Ran right outside to look around. No evidence of spraying or and type of granules. Now I'm very agitated. Called office again. Guy this time, very apologetic. After telling him what I thought of his company, his salesperson and how no one listens, he set a date for the following Thursday and would make sure his best tech will meet me and show me everything and perform another spraying at no charge. Was to come between the hours of 3pm and 5pm. Took 2 hours off from work to meet with him at their time schedule. Get a text around 2:30pm saying tech is sick and can't make appointment. Okay, we all get sick. Get text next day that another tech will meet me on Saturday. Ok. Great, I don't work Saturday. Text him saying anytime after 10am Saturday will work for me. No reply. Around noon time sent text asking his arrival time. No reply. Again later in the afternoon. And you guessed it. No reply. Never showed. Now, I'm furious. Called office during normal hours. Once again, 35 minutes on hold. Told her all the issues and that I wanted to opt out of this whole thing right now. She said she could have someone there the following day and could meet and go over everything. Told her no. I can't take any more time off from work and wish anyone from this company at my house. She got nasty with me and then said it would cost me $250.00 to void my contract that I don't remembering signing. They had no problem taking the money but problems keeping their end of the contract by giving me a service which I paid good money for and don't believe I ever received. This company is to be avoided like the plague! They dazzle you with a presentation that is full of claims and promises that are false. If a door to door salesman comes, do NOT let him even talk to you! The one that came had NO information to leave but just fast talked and told us that he could give us info but that to get the "special price" we needed to sign up today. How were we foolish enough to buy the service is difficult to understand other than we found the guy friendly, polite and personable (evidently part of the sales process!). The first tech came out and did NOT do what the salesperson promised so they sent someone else out to fulfill the agreement. Then when there was another problem that we discovered as a lie in the promise, in calling, they do not answer their phones! They say if you want to press 9 they'll call you back! Good luck with that! 3 phone calls on different days and they didn't call back so the next day I called and stayed on the line and when they said if you prefer to stay on to speak to a rep press * so I did...and it actually disconnected the call! Very unhappy with our service. We have an animal in our ceiling so we had someone come out to formulate a plan to deal with it. Technician only looked at the outside of the house and set out to try and trap a squirrel. We were charged $600 in advance and after 5 days of having the trap out nothing was caught. Then the technician looked inside the house and determined the animal may be a mouse. Dealing with the mouse issue would be another charge for $300. We were not happy with this and tried to contact the company, after several calls and emails we finally got a call a week later and told we were out of luck there was no refund or applying what we paid to the new service. I signed up with this company in the spring of 2020 because many of my neighbors highly recommended them. The latest service was November 18, 2020 with the same pest technician who knows my property well now and is always very professional and thorough. First, he asks me if I'm aware of any new issues or problems. He inspects the entire exterior and explains the work he is doing every time and also shows me where rodents might be getting in and then he has blocked them. This is the first year [in 5 years] we haven't had rodents inside our home and walls. In the summer when I told him about some bees or wasps on one side of my home, almost immediately he found the hole in the ground where they were coming from and sprayed it, making it safe to work on that side of my home for the rest of the summer. Because of their service, I don't have any more spider webs and nests on the side of my home and getting into the inside. When it was 90 degrees this past summer, he went into an attic space and removed paper and mud wasp nests while they were flying around him and blocked holes he could access where they were getting into the attic. Our most recent problem was squirrels getting into our vehicles and chewing wiring. The technician installed two exterior bait stations and showed me exactly how they were safe for our dog. He also installed termite bait stations to make sure I'm not having a problem with them because my neighbors are. At first, I thought the yearly cost was a lot, but the cost of injury or damage by wasps, yellow jackets, stink bugs, mice, rats, rodents, squirrels, termites, carpenter ants is greater. I was a co-owner of a home inspection company for 20 years which ended in a divorce 12 years ago. I have seen the damage and I knew it was time to have a pest control company help me with the above issues. read more
