We had to find another company to get those 3 chairs in the last minute. He NEVER gave us refund. Horrible service!! I do not recommend this company at all. I feel sorry for the owner because he lack professionalism and manors. Based on conversation that he had with my manager he truly thinks he can charge to people and not delivering paid merchandise. Illegally he tried to use my card on file for additional charges.

I reached out to 3 different tent companies in the area (via their websites) and 2 out of the 3 got back to me. Valley Tent being one of them. I called them directly after getting an estimate because I was looking for a tent that could be built on our deck. This was a small gathering of 12 people or so I wanted to turn the deck into an additional room to have more space. This was my first time renting a tent with sides and most importantly on a deck. After receiving my estimate, I had a few questions. Both, Joyce and Justin, were very nice, patient, and professional. They were responsive and great with answering all my questions. They'd also give recommendations based on their expertise. With it being a surprise birthday party, timing as very important to me and their team was very punctual to the minute which I really appreciated. Their crew was very professional and accommodating. They setup the tent within the set timeframe which was about an hour and a half. I rented a 12x12 tent with sides, the gutter, and a heater. It was in early January so we needed the heater. The heater was amazing! It came with its temp controller, really warmed up the area quick. It was great. Our guest were impressed with the whole setup. I also felt their prices were very reasonable for the quality of work and equipment you're renting. I would definitely use Valley Tent Rental again!

We had a very bad experience with Abbott and Sons Rental. I was hosting a party for my daughter…read morewhich began at noon. Delivery of the furniture and linens were scheduled for 9 - 10 am (which would have left at least 2 hours for set up). However, when they did not show up by 10:00, we began to call Abbott and nobody was answering our calls. The rental truck and delivery guys showed up after 11:30 am! It was a disaster trying to get the 7 tables and 33 chairs unpacked and set up - while guests started to arrive! Guests helped unpack and set up chairs, set tablecloths and decor, get the food displayed on buffet tables, etc. It was embarassing to say the least. The delivery staff wanted to dump and leave the furniture and we insisted that they at least help us unpack the folded chairs! Furthermore, we scheduled for pickup later that day. When they showed up to pick up the furniture they were RUDE to the security doorman, refused to show identification, and moved past our security to go pick up the rentals from the party room! Our doorman called us in the apartment right away and was very upset. Upon raising all of these issues to Colleen at Abbott the day after the party, she confirmed that the delivery time of 9 - 10 basically became unrealistic to them, although they NEVER tried to contact us to let us know they'd be VERY LATE, let alone respond to our calls that morning! She then denied the whole other incident of pickup and not following our building's security and entry policy. She said she believed her delivery staff's side of the story rather than ours. Clearly Abbott and Sons has no concern or respect for the customer. They've offered no money back (which now comes as NO surprise from this company.) Well, at a cost of $400 for the rentals I guess they figured a TERRIBLE review of their company was worth it to them. DON'T USE THEM!!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!
