Our daughter has been riding at Foxlair for 7, I can hardly believe it, 7 fantastic years! We've enjoyed trail rides with family and friends, lessons with Nana riding, summer camps and now volunteer hours and some work with Steff and her horses. My Granddaughter Payton and I could not have been more pleased with the afternoon trail ride we experienced on a beautiful Fall day. Steff was incredibly nice to Payton and I. She made us look like seasoned riders on our horses Tonto and Cheyenne.....Payton was thrilled to be able to help brush down Tonto after our ride and walk them back to the other horses. We are looking forward to the next time we get to go for another trail ride. read more

Warning!! Please be advised to bring extra socks, because they'll be blown right off from what a great time you'll have! Steffany is not only clearly very knowledgable about horses, but also passionate, and great at teaching. This experience was extremely well priced for the value we got. We went on a beautiful trail in a forest nearby filled with butterflies and serenity. despite the record breaking heat that day, we were completely comfortable and relaxed the whole journey. In one appointment, in addition to our ride, we learned about basic horse care and grooming, getting gear on and off, and basics of caring for a stable of horses. We really got to taste the pleasures and responsibilities of owning your own horse(s), all for the small fee of a trail ride. Booking was extremely convenient. We were making a trip to Port Dover from Toronto, and just called Fox Lair along the way on a whim. Steff happily accommodated our schedule. We will definitely be back again, and highly recommend this stable to anyone. Thanks Steff! read more

WARNING!!! Be advised NOT to purchase any serveries from FOX LAIR STABLES organization. This experience did cost me $100. I purchased three 50% off presumably $75 value vouchers with "no expiration" on them. Basically the voucher appeared worth $40, and after and unpleasant and time-consuming emailing with Steffany Fox, they had the edacity to demand another $90 to redeem the vouchers! Any appeal was met with "it is not my problem" from Mrs Fox. Offering no flexibility and treating me miserably she still felt that I have to give here more money claiming that what I already paid was fairly earned long time ago. She clearly never heard of customer service and that is clearly prime reason of failing to build customer base over 15 years of operation. The only mean of survival is to find victims for scam by advertising 50% off tags. Dealfind was not able to reimburse since 240-day period was over. If you already bought the voucher make sure NOT to give her the voucher number till she provides anything more worthy than words. read more
