He's a gentleman and an excellent coach and helped our wee Alee feel comfortable straight away. We definitely recommend the stable, the coaching and the sale/lease services at Golden Gate Equestrian. Not only that, but we ended up making a donation to help support the stable during covid--that's how impressed we were! Kyla Gutsche and family

The owner/Manager Robert that works here is extremely rude, confrontational has horrible customer service and unbeleivably bad communication skills. For being someone that works with the public and children on a regular basis. I would not reccomend this place to anyone not because the play place isn't fun for kids, because of the owner and his bad attitude.

Most of the folks working there are volunteers. It's a great spot to bring your kids for the day. As long as it's not too cold, the tours can be interesting and you can try some maple samples for yourself. The pancake house is cheap cheap cheap, which is great. Fresh and delicious maple syrup on pancakes or French toast. There's often mascots roaming around for the kids. It's a summer camp, so expect to sit family style and eat off a Styrofoam plate. This is no fine dining experience but it's tasty, cheap and supports a good cause.

The same equipment was more than $250 more on amazon.ca. Dan's offered it at the same price in Canadian funds as my normal dealer in the US. I wouldn't hesitate to use them again nor to recommend them to others.

If you search around for reviews you will read some terrible opinions. I've worked in many…read moreProvincial Parks and have worked for ONTARIO specifically. I will say Selkirk Provincial Park was one of the WORST experiences ever. Now the regulars may enjoy it ... but for someone who travelled to the area it wasn't worth it. We spent most of the time outside the park: Canuyga, Port Dover, Turkey point. We did this because the park isn't big (which isn't the issue). The issue was the Officers being lazy and not doing their jobs. At 3 am every night we were woken up by drunks screaming and yelling. Absolutely no enforcing of the 11 pm curfew. Now I agree 11 pm is early but 1 am would be nice. We stayed in the tent are nonelectric. You absolutely can hear neighbouring campsites easily. The yelling all night and the DOGS barking all day and night basically ruined the trip (dogs at night barking). I read a lot of reviews and thought people were just overreacting... the majority of the complaints were accurate. A nice small park I found to be well cleaned and probably relaxing during slow season. I can't recommend people visiting for a relaxing/fun time/adventurous... not at all.

Amazing, fun, and plain great…read more We didn't have any expectations, and were pleasantly surprised by the owner's dedication to the business - she's actually going an extra length to educate people about ostriches, by showing instructional videos and etc. In addition to the obvious, i.e ostriches, there are also exceptionally adorable bunnies (think the Easter bunny movie), little goats, chickens, ducks, guinea fowls and etc. Lots of space for the kids to run around and have fun. I highly recommend using the opportunity to eat ostrich meat - they serve steaks and little samplers, so come hungry. You can also buy raw meat to take home - I did, and loved it. Overall, I know we'd definitely be back.
